Stayed 13 days before and after New Year in a harbour view room. Amazing views, average size rooms but very comfortable with practical layout and storage, very good bed, nice bathroom, top quality restaurants, very quiet. The staff were truly outstanding - the hospitality team actually went shopping to find non-allergenic soaps that would not irritate my wife. If you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk you have easy access to bus, tram, the Star Ferry and subway plus taxi fares in HK are very affordable. We would stay again without hesitation.

Room Tip: Higher floors give you superior views plus the construction noise from the site beside the Convention Centre fades away.

I was on business trip to Hong Kong. Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is a good hotel with friendly hotel staff and good bed. The room is okay, clean, and I could view the famous Victoria Harbour from my hotel room.
It is not located near the train station. You have to move around the city by taxi. Well, the taxi fare in Hong Kong is cheap compared to Singapore.
Overall, I am satisfied and happy with Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

My friend and I visited HK for a week and stayed at three hotels, two on points and the Peninsula where we paid. We expected the Pen to be the best but were surprised that both of the other hotels offered more in the way of amenities and comfort and more desirable locations. Initially we had planned to stay at the Hyatt in Tsim Sha Tsui but having gone over to the Kowloon side for dinner we did not like the ambience so much...or the pollution...so we asked Hyatt Gold Passport if we could move to the Grand Hyatt and they made it very easy for us. We were more than pleased with our room and the view, the shower was amazing, free internet was available and the lounge was outstanding. This is a first class hotel, perhaps a little inconvenient for tourists but not overly so. You can get to Central for about $3 USD in a taxi and from there everything is easy. A good experience all around.

This was a very good hotel for a business trip with meetings on HK island. Its close to the Wan Chai ferry so it is also easy to get over to Kowloon. Food good and Tiffin dinner buffet very nice. One Harbour road had excellent food. Rooms ok - a little dated but jaw dropping harbour views. Beware the construction outside hotel ( in Jan 2012) in lower harbour view rooms - i was moved to a higher floor because it was so intrusive. Otherwise a good value place to stay considering location. Very good airport transfer service.

Room Tip: High floor harbour views give jaw dropping panorama of the harbour and Kowloon
