Took advantage of the Hilton half price weekend sale when planning my round the world trip and started here. Stayed on Club floor and this was excellent with good service and champagne and canapes as well as afternoon tea and reasonable breakfast (limited eggs). Concierge booked restaurants and taxi back to airport etc very efficiently.

Fair room with pleasant turn down service and toy for a child.

Great location and good view.

Would not have paid full rate unless on business.

The below reviews correctly commented on the hotel's very convenient location, nice large room and bathroom, and clealiness.

However, the hotel is also very expensive compared to the other hotels in the same area, even on corporate rates.

The area where the hotel let down was its service that did not reflect its price and standard. An example was that, at the pool side, we asked for a normal glass of water for my young son instead of its lemon-flavoured water. Although the pool bar was not very far from the pool, the pool attendant told us that it was all they got! Another example was the inconsistent room housekepping.

The hotel did not also seem to have WiFi, which for Hong Kong where WiFi tends to be available and popular is a bit odd for a hotel of this class.

We stayed at the adjacent JW Marriott for a few days towards the end of our stay for leisure and although Marriott's room and bathroom were smaller, we felt that the service was better.

The Conrad is an incredible hotel right near transportation, sights, and great food. The rooms in the hotel start on the 40th floor, so all the rooms have a great view either out over Victoria Harbor or toward the peak. The rooms are incredibly well appointed, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms with separate showers and tubs, great bath products.

I was on the 57th floor, one of the Executive Floors but two floors below the Executive Lounge on the 59th floor. There was nightly turn down service with a "Conrad Bear," with a daily fruit plate and chocolate "Dim Sum" that were refreshed each day of my stay. Breakfast came with the room in the Executive Lounge and was incredible. The service from the staff in the hotel was truly top notch. Any issues were immediately dealt with.

The lounge is directly connected to the Pacific Place mall and, through the mall, to the Admiralty MTR Station. It was easy to get to all of Hong Kong's attractions in no time through the excellent mass transit system.

I would highly recommend checking out Cafe Too at the Island Shangri La hotel next to the cafe. The food was absolutely incredible. There was also a very nice dinner buffet in the Garden Cafe at the Conrad.

Excelletent environment and friendly and international service. Located at the pacific place Hong Kong island. Access to great and large luxurey shopping mall & several traditional and internation restaurantsmuseums and internation business environment. the conferenc center and the service within the center is perfectly supported and developed. Within a walking distance of a few minutes you are in the center of Hong Kong. This hotel is perfect for leisure and business meetings. I would absoulutely recommend to stay at the Conrad Hong Kong as you feel like home and at the same time you have the opportunity to explore a different culture, environment and you experience China with all its magnificence!

With probably unbeatable views of the Bay and Kowloon on the other side, the hotel's location on Hong Kong Island is also terrific. Not too far from the shopping, cabs easily available and the MTR and Airport Express not too far away. I thought that it was a bit overhyped from some of the other reviews I've read. Although there was nothing I could pick as wrong, given the high comparative tarriff, I don't think I would stay here as it wasn't really all that special.

Thought it was a bit overpriced but I was a guest of my client and the bill was footed by my client.

I spent 3 nights at the Conrad in hong kong en route to australia 17-20 july ad I have to say it is one of the loveliest hotels i have ever stayed in ..... I had a standard peak view room with a lovely view and very large windows . we had an adjoining room for our kids < half price if they are both under 18 > and took adantage of the advanced purchase rate with dinner and breakfast.

the rooms are beautifully appointed with internet access < £10 per day approx > nice large flat screen t.v. with the usual selection of international channels . the beds are large and comfy with fantastic bedding and pillows. the bathrooms are spotless , also well appointed with excellent amenities , lots of towels and also dressing gowns and robes to use. the location of this hotel is also superb , with a shopping mall and MTR station directly underneath , a short walk also to te peak tram station and a nice park that also includes an aviary.

the hotel staff are also a delight , they simply cannot do enough for you and are so polite and smile all the time . they were particularly helpful with our request for early check in and late check out , nothing it would seem is a problem , i have never visited the hotel before but after just a day there any staff i had already had contact with seemed to have remembered my name . the only down side to the stay was that there was a bit of renovation going on to the pool and cafe area which wasn't notified in advance , there was a bit of noise when using the pool but nothing too bad really , also the gym wasn't available but you could use the gym at the hotel next door < 2 minute walk > s not an issue really .... one thing i would recommend they look at is the menu available to folks on the dinner and breakfast rate .... it was in a smart a la carte restaurant < brasseries on eigth > and on this rate you are entitled to the fixed menu , which has a choice of about 4 things and only 1 desert choice < or 2 if you include a souffle that you need to order when you go in so they can prepare it > . the menu didn't change at all during my three nights which was just about o.k. but would have been a bit of an issue had we stayed a few more nights ...... breakfast is a fantastic buffet with plenty of everything and more than adequate for even the heartiest of eaters ..... overall this is a superb hotel made even more special by the lovely lovely staff

I choosed this Conrad due to the long shopping list of my wife, there is a shopping more right under it. In fact, my choice is quite right.

Since this Conrad has been opend for a long time (maybe 15+ years), even it was re-decorated recently, according to my experience of HK hotels, I did not have high expectation.

But, it really did suprised me. the room is large, especally for make up room. And, there is a large window in the room, so that you can see the harbour just in front of your face. Really, it changed my prior image of HK hotels.

The sevice is good, no matter the doorman or the front desk, no matter you asking the route or make a bill exchange, really good.

Only one thing not so nice is their price of breakfast, above HKD 300+ per person. On this point, I agree with other reviewers, in a place like HK, where provided varies cusine styles in every corner, a HKD 300+ breakfast is not valuable.
