We stayed for a week with our family while we were searching for houses and schools, prior to our relocation in a few months. We had booked two rooms since we were travelling with three children and our nanny.

Upon arrival, they offered to upgrade us to a Suite on the smokers floor, which was fine because there was no smell, nor inconvenience. We had two bedrooms, three bathrooms and a living room with great views. The service and rooms were impeccable. The air-conditioning was fully adjustable which made it very comfortable. The breakfast buffet extremely varied and of very high quality. The swimming pool was very nice too and our children enjoyed it immensely. Room service was fast and excellent.... and the highlight was a rubber duck in the bathtub and a teddy bear in the bed... the children where thrilled!

The location too is excellent. Just above the Pacific Place shopping mall and Admiralty MTR station, two minute walk from a beautiful park and 5 minutes from the peak train, it was difficult to find a better hotel.

I had the pleasure to stay at the Conrad for a week in October on business. What a hotel ! The service is fantastic , the rooms are brilliant and the food in the bar / pool area could not be faulted.

Only problem is it is not cheap but if you can afford it GO. Also very handy for the tram to Victoria Peak , a ten minute walk through the park to the tram station

We stayed at the Conrad Hong Kong for 3 nights before flying to Thailand.
The hotel is located on Hong Kong Island close to Wang Chi district.
Room was fantastic, on the 51st floor with a harbour view (worth paying the extra).
Breakfast was outstanding, and the pool was good.
Hotel is about 10-20 min walk from nearest metro/tube station which is admiralty via the shopping malls. Taxis are cheap and plentiful.

Before booking the Conrad we looked at other hotels and areas and visited quite a few while there. We have to say we were glad we booked a hotel on Hong Kong Island and not in Kowloon as Kowloon can be noisy and overcrowded, and non-Chinese hawkers plague the golden mile area.

If you want to eat and visit an authentic district of Hong Kong then we would recommend Wang Chi, which is about a 5 min walk away from the hotel. Here you will find shops and good restaurants used by locals at very reasonable prices.

In all a fantastic hotel and city which we would hope to visit again.

Enjoy!

We loved this hotel - the position is ideal, the harbour views great and the staff so polite and helpful. We were upgraded to the Executive Level and were very impressed with the quality of the service there. The breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes etc were superb - we stayed previously in the Conrads at Singapore and Bangkok but found the Hong Kong preoprty the best by far. The only negative was the concierge service - we needed help with sightseeing and after waiting some time in line we were dealt with very brusquely. That small issue aside, this was overall a great stay.

I stayed in Conrad on a businee trip for 7 nights. I extremely like the location of Conrad Hong Kong. It located at Pacific Place which at the bottom of the hotel is shopping mall which link you to the underground. Basically, you can go from one place to another all indoor and air conditioned!! It helped as it was really hot when I was there in September!

Conrad is at Central which is a good location for night life and good restaurants and also shopping! To enjoy HK, do stay at Conrad!!

I loved this hotel. I had a harbor view on the 60th floor (Executive Floor) and service was impeccable from the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out.

Arrived early (approximately 8am) off an overnight flight and they had a room done up for me already, which was perfect for that ever needed post-flight shower. Room size very good for Hong Kong, bathroom quite large, but shower a bit cramped considering. Bed very comfortable with nice, crisp linens. Channel selection quite good.

Executive Floor details - the lounge has free WiFi so do not bother purchasing in-room Internet unless you really need to. Staff fantastic, always asking you if you want or need something. Executive Lounge breakfast spread was excellent, with fresh delicious foods and an endless variety or food and drink.

All in all, an excellent stay. It's quite expensive, thus the low value for money (US$350 minimum), because I truly believe no hotel is worth as much per night as many people pay for a month of rent, but hey, the company paid for it! Can't wait to get back to the Conrad.

Stayed there 9 nights as HHDiamonds using points. Bellhops were not helpful. Tips are expected. Gave us Exec Harbor view Rm with a couple of very comfortable rollaways for our kids. the signature teddies for each bed while turndown service were a nice touch. Great amenities even with a nailclipper; although inconsistant while replenishing the amenities. Loved the separate glass enclosed shower and bathtub with ducky and separation for toilet. If possible ask for a room above 59th floor (Lounge) which will enable you to see over a blocked bldg to the Kowloon side. Daily fruit and excellent chocolates every evening. Very good exec lounge (w/free wifi & great views) as they remember you and what you usually drink; they speak English well. Afternoon lite snacks and evening hor'derves were very nice; although their Afternoon Tea on the 1st floor is excellent (quite pricey). Breakfast at the lower restaurant had more variety than the lounge, but service is not good, after a week, they still did not know we were from the exec floor and kept billing us (which the front desk took off at check-out). Gave us 2-4 bottles of water daily. Pool & 2 hot tubs were very nice with an attendant to bring you water and towels. Very nice mall to walk around, but no-one really shops there, convenient for the MTR (train) to Kowloon side for shopping at FaYuen Street or Woman's market. Did not go to Temple Street, as I heard, it may not be 'safe'? Visit Stanley, the shopping there was quite reasonable as I was surprised, but look around 1st before buying. The next stall always seems like it is cheaper! Tip visit KFC for the Coconut Egg Custard and HuLanShan for their mango desserts (yum!); walking distance to the Tram for Victoria's Peak, nice Botanical Garden within a couple of blocks.
