small rooms

I stayed here for 3 nights, location was fine, but the size of the room, or should i say closet was beyond belief. I asked about an upgrade to something larger, which i was willing to pay for, but they said all rooms were the same size.
There was no where to put luggage, and the size of the toilet took up most of the bathroom space, i'm not sure how many stars it is rated but i would halve that.
i would say for a single traveller it would be fine.

Family Visit to Hong Kong

The family visited Hong Konf for the period 2-8 Sept and stayed at the The Kowloon Hotel. The hotel was great, we had rooms on the 15th floor and they were very quiet and made up each day. A lot of people had commented on the small size of the rooms but we did not find this a problem as we were only ever in the rooms to sleep. We had a buffet breakfast each morning which set us up for the rest of the day.

Twice we had the Supper Buffett at the hotel and this was great too. The staff were always friendly and the hotel is very centrally located for everything.

The next best thing we did was to buy Octapus cards for everyone and we used these on the trains and buses. We did all the usual tourist attractions including Macau and visited every market in Hong Kong.

We had airport/hotel transfers with tour east and these were managed with their usual 5 star service. Overall a fantastic holiday

Good location, that's all it can offer

We have chosen this hotel for the location only : this is fine, as a Tube station is next door and the ferry to Honk Kong island is only 5min walk. But this is the only good reason to chose it.
As we were a family of 3, we have chosen a superior room : 12 square meter only, no place for the baggage, the wardrobe is just for one. I complained about at the hotel Duty Manager, asking if a normal would be only 6square meter in which you cannot walk around the bed. I was told that the normal rooms are exactly the same but that the decoration is just nice in the superior. Why should we pay more, just for a painting ? Ridiculous. The service was not good at all : staff are talking to you as if you are disturbing them (coffee shop) and are not flexible at all. There are not customer minded as we are used to see in other countries (Thailand, Philippines). Except if you travelling alone and you want a nice location, I would not recommand this hotel and next time we will be in HKG, we will for sure chose something else.

Room tip: take a normal room, not a superior, it is the same size ...

Great Location, Expensive, But So is Hong Kong

I stayed there for several nights. The location was excellent. Metro is right outside of the hotel. When it is really hot out, like in August, you can go through the metro station to get to other places and stay cool. It is an expensive hotel, but when it is right next to the Penisula Hotel, you know it is going to be expensive. The room is OK, small, but efficient. The breakfast is not as good as other hotels in China. Usually when I visit China, the breakfast buffet is the best part, but this one, it was OK.

Business hotel

I've been there with my husband for tsim sha tsui and kowloon tour.
it is very close to ferry terminal and tsimsha tsui station.
location is perfect but nothin is attractive, room and bath tub is too small and even no space to put on a suitcase.
there are 4bottles of water in the fridge, but be carufel to drink the watson water. it cost 25 hkg per bottle, we didn't know that and drank, because no label on the bottle.

singapore airline flight attendant and so many group tour people are waiting for lobby to check in/out, it was so crowded with them,
