The extreme nearness to the Quarry Bay subway station while looking back to the reasonable rates I paid! Rooms are quite spacious and the pool is great as for an in-town hotel in hk. And the just-opposite supermarket is another surprise which adds the convenience. Worth to recommend!

Nice hotel, good location, close to the train station which is very important in a crowded city like Hong Kong.
Rooms are decent.
It's a bit noisy, but fun!

There are not a lot of restaurants in the area outside of the hotel.
Very good location at North Point to Central, for the business guest is most easy to take MTR to Central just 15 mins.
The supermarket next to the hotel and just 10 mins to Causeway Bay,the location very convenient shopping
The rooms are dated and it shows, it is in desperate need of renovation. It is in the same range of Excelsior and Regal Hong Kong.
I would only stay here if you get a good rate.
On the other hand, I would say the location is very convenient because it is opposite a MTR station and you can get anywhere in HK on the MTR quickly and cheaply.
Hotel in HK are very expensive for the hard product they provide, so if you price range in 800-1200 HKD, I would consider this one.
I cannot thank the Harbor Plaza Staff enough for the wonderful experience I and my friends had in Hong Kong. The proximity to the Quarry Bay MTR, the easy pick up/drop off for the Gray Lines tours made traveling very easy for Hong Kong first timers. The rooms were of an excellent size and quality, we had the one bedroom suite, which was fantastic for the two of us, the sofa bed was very comfortable. Having the swimming pool to cool off with at the end of the day was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Happy hour was great and drinks were very reasonable. The massage and facials are definitely recommended and were excellent value!Food was of a very high standard and very reasonable for both room service as well as dining in the restraunt.The only negative was the cost of the internet - HK$130 for a 24 hour period. Definitely go back!

Hotel is modern, clean and efficient but rooms are small, it is out of the way and apart from its two inhouse restaurants we only found restaurants nearby without English speaking staff or menus.
It's right opposite the MTR exit C so if you want a good bed in the HK area it's fine.
Other plus points. Good selection of house wines (including Vergelegen but chances of order getting lost in translation - high). Pleasant, mainly empty swimming pool. Trams outside. Shuttle bus to local shopping centre and HK station (for airport express and ferries. )
