Service and attitude is the one thing that really stood out here.

The hotel is a nice one too and the rooms are comparable to North America sizes. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong which I like.

Modern style hotel and get a room facing the harbour if you are able.

The buffet on the ground floor was good (until I tried the one at Grand Hyatt) and reasonably priced.

The hotel is a very as it is very popular with tour groups. The location is great for travelling on the train to Guangzhou and Dongguan which is why I stayed here.

It is located in Hung Hom around the Whampoa development. Lots of eateries and shops.

It is a bit out of the ways from TST and other districts but there are shuttles and taxis.

Overall, very happy with my stay but location will probably not bring me back unless I am taking a train to GZ or SZ.

Room Tip: Take the Hotel Shuttle from the Kowloon MTR station - free and convenient. Get a room facing the har...

Stayed at this hotel while my husband was on a business trip in HK. It was very opulent and good quality.

The rooms are great with a huge, comfortable bed, great bathroom, tv etc. we were on the side of the hotel so we did not have a harbour view which would have been nice. The Wi-Fi was very expensive!

location - more out of the main area but we always got the shuttle bus into Kowloon which was great but occasionally filled up so be there early.

The weather wasn't great in April but one day was hot so I used the roof top pool which was nice and had stunning views but was windy and cold water!

The restaurants all looked great but very very expensive so we didn't eat in them, we just had breakfast one day but that was about £25!

The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions.

Hong Kong is good fun - we did Disneyland, Ocean Park, the Peak and the evening laser show.

It was a nice hotel just quite pricey.

The hotel is great, amazing rooms and great facilities.
Loved the pool on the roof especially by night.
Its expensive like all hotels but very high quality.
The staff however could really do with a lesson from the Chinese in service.
I waited forever to be served at check in, then when I asked question had really short fairly unhelpful answers.
This hotel could have got excellent if the desk staff had a better attitude

With a small kid, the hotel thankfully allowed us an early check-in and we found the services prompt too. Modern comfortable rooms. The view from the rooms and the breakfast area is great and the nearby jogging track along the bay was great for evening strolls. Free shuttle buses every half-an-hour and very helpful door attendants who marked out the city map for us, made it easy for us for find our veg restaurants. With our cramped schedule, missed the roof-top pool unfortunately. M
Downside :- Would have loved a couple of more hot Indian veg items (only 2 were provided).

Stayed here 11 nights recently. The harbour view room was beautiful the pool view fantastic but the water was a little too cold for my liking. The hotel hoppa bus was on hand every 30 mins from hotel to Mody Road or Hankow road just a few minutes walk from the Star Ferry which for $2.00 will take you across the harbour into Hong Kong itself .
Worth using the Big Red Bus for sightseeing trips too . We purchased a 48 hour pass and were able to do all 3 routes . Worth every penny.
Hotel bus also stopped at Hung Hom station for a trip up into the New territories well worth doing .Just wished we had purchased an octopus card but didnt find out until it was too late
Only 1 disapointment with the hotel was that we had to purchase the wifi facility daily at a cost of $130. We found the supermarket - very close to the hotel and cheap for fruit etc...
Had a lovely bottle of wine , individual birthday cake and card from the hotel...lovely gesture I thought .
Would reccommend this hotel without hesitation .

Room Tip: Harbour View room worth the upgrade higher floors

Stayed 7 days in wonderful Hong Kong at the Harbour Grand Hotel.
Best thing we did once arriving at Hong Kong airport was to purchase an Octopus card $30 aussie dollars.
This card was used for 7days every day for ferry and local train travel.
On vacating Hong Kong we handed the card back in and received a rebate on what we didn't use.

Location- On your door step a lovely walk along the harbour, lots of locals jogging etc... beautiful views very relaxing or you can walk 2 mins for local restaurants and small places to eat, we tried a local soup with noodles chilli and chicken $5 each fantastic.
A free shuttle bus leaves every 30mins (be on time) and takes 15 mins to the action.
also drops you walking distance to the ferry which takes 10 mins to Hong Kong island.
Unless you are use to being in the middle of all the action all the time, the location of this hotel is no problem and transport system is brilliant, taxis are also cheap.

Room- stayed on the 9th floor..nice big 40sq room, clean, although we did have one problem with dirty sheets, was fixed on the spot by management. Great view of the harbour, free wi-fi in the room.

Staff- very helpful and Friendly.

Food- we booked our room and paid the extra for buffet breakfast. $28 aussie each a day i think. Well worth the money.. good variation of food, pool food good and international buffet $58
each but wow....

Roof top pool awesome, clean good views

All in all great holiday value for money. felt great staying at the Harbour Grand will stay again.

We booked this hotel because of the reviews and the images of the pool with the bay view. We also paid extra for a bay view thinking we could sit on the balcony and enjoy. Well, there was no balcony and the view of Hong Kong Harbour was not the view you would expect. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel itself was nice, very expensive and out of the way for the harbour view you believe you get. The meals, including breakfast, in the hotel were very expensive, we ate out every day and the steak at the outback steakhouse was less than half of the price of the steak in the hotel. We were very disappointed. The pool looks like an infinity pool with a harbour view, it wasn’t. You got a harbour view if you were out of the pool looking over the railings. If I went to Hong Kong again, I wouldn’t stay here, I would go for a cheaper hotel near the harbour view you would expect.
