Access to the hotel was a little daunting owing to traffic jam outside main entrance, but a bell-boy immediately appeared to take my luggage. Check-in at the Club Floor was swift and genuinely warm, and my suite was delightful. Bathroom amenities were excellent, better than some of the much pricier Island's 5 stars. Bed was very comfortable. Room spotless. And, singularly, mini-bar prices were not outrageous! Free wifi in the Lounge and free LAN in your room.
Food in the Club Lounge was excellent, with a very good carte for breakfast. Champagne good. Service excellent. Tempura Set lunch in Japanese restaurant was a delicious (and copious) bargain. Pizza could have been cooked at a higher temperature in Cucina, but this and wine nicely priced. Service in both very good.
The staff could not do more to please – this rates as excellent, even in Asia Pacific.
Location – it is Kowloon-side, and therefore full-on hubbub outside. From full-price Versace and Vuitton to irritating touts hawking copy watches, dodgy tailoring, dodgier massage, and handbags. Felix is a short walk and elevator away (need to book well ahead), as is a host of other offerings in and around One Peking. Kowloon Airport Express station, MTR and Star Ferries are all close.
Joy of joy – I never once had to give my room number – they knew who I was – old-style Asia Pacific hospitality, missing from many 5 stars.
I fully recommend this hotel!!!

We were given this hotel by our travel agency as the 5 star hotel we had agreed on was overbooked. They gave us a 'superior' room which is a queen size. Obviously I went to complain at reception and they told as that their 'superior' rooms were all queen size. No need to stay that I was fuming. To cut a long story short we left a day earlier. Guess that says it all! I suggest you do not stay on the Kowloon area but on the Island across as it is more interesting.

yes this is not at the south island, but kowloon is great place to stay in itself too.
its near to every shopping item you can think of (although lacks any departmental store nearby) including showrooms of most high end items. walking distance from the ferry, the mrt, the science centre, the sea (to see the 8pm sound and light show) and next to harbour city. if u looking for clean cheap food - visit the food court at horbourcity, called citysuper - u will get all cuisines - japansese to indian to thai to taiwanese to western.. and all good.

i always stay at this place for business trisp and even twice with family - so that describes how much i like it. if not wrong, in first half of 2010, i must have checked in 10+ times at this hotel. excellent staff, good choice in bfasts (considering i made so many trips and got bored of its sight, still a praise means it wasnt bad), excellent service.

Very good hotel with rooms spacious compared to other hotels in Hong Kong. A very good breakfast spread. Centrally located in Kowloon side of Hong Kong, very close to the ferry terminal and shopping area. Connected to shopping mall so even if it rains can just walk around the shops.

We booked a deluxe room but due to high volume of clients that weekend, we were upgraded to the Club floor. We had a blast! Buffet breakfast on the floor, Cocktails on the floor. Unlimited food and drinks. One downside, though, was that our room had a CRT TV, highly unfit for a Club room. Our friends a few floors down had a plasma TV in theirs.
Nevertheless, a luxurious but reasonably priced holiday for us.

Great location right next to Star Ferry, forms part of the enormous Harbourside shopping complex. Room was enormous and I was glad I paid the extra for a harbour view. Would go back to this hotel on me next trip to Hong Kong. Definately for you if you like designer shopping. However, don't be fooled by the pictures of the swimming pool, it is tiny and the sun beds (there are only about 5 of them) are really uncomfortable.
