The JW serves as a very nice hotel on HK island. As expected the rooms are not big (it is HK) but the space is very functional and well used. We had a harbor view and it was great with 2 large windows looking out. The location is central and nice because it is right above the train station so it is very easy to get to places, namely Kowloon (1 stop). It is also reasonably walkable to many of the HK islands sites-Peak Tram, Soho. The pool is very nice and the restaurant Fish Bar is great for lunch or dinner (outside with no AC so can be warm for lunch). We also had access to the club level and that was amazing. Great breakfast every day and nice place to go for a snack or bottle of water. Also, the concierge in the executive club was very helpful (Anna was amazing to us).

We stayed 4 nights for pleasure and found this to be a very nice hotel for a reasonable (not cheap) price. Would certainly stay again if in HK.

Our family (2 adults, 2 young children) stayed at JW Marriott during August this year. During our extended weekend at Hong Kong's JW everything went as smoothly as one could hope for. Out of nearly 40+ Hong Kong hotels that I have stayed in so far, this one is easily within the top 3.

The hotel itself is situated by Pacific Place, great connection to the mall, some effort and orientation to get to MTR and on rainy days you might have to wait for a taxi for some time, but these are minor issues.

The staff was simply wonderful and like always, I look how they treat our children (8 and 5 year old) which pretty much tells how the staff handles other "demanding" guests.

Our room was a suite on 30th floor with views to Victoria harbor as well as to the hills. Large living room, decent bedroom, easy access to executive lounge and really decent set of standard equipments and services you would expect from a 5-star hotel.

The gym was basic, but still very good. The pool area was also very nice, nothing fancy but still very charming with a bar and a small restaurant. Also, the pool had been separated into two sections, one for more leisure-like swimming (and for children) and the other side for people who actually would like to excercise while swimming.

My wife and and kids loved it ond the location was very convenient for me for my business meetings.

Simply put it, we had a great time at JW Marriott. BTW, the hotel has been chosen as the best place to work in Hong Kong for two years in a row and you can tell that by looking at the attitudes of hotel staff, they really were there to help you and they enjoyed doing so.

The view was excellent, especially from a high floor. The hotel is attached to a mall so you don't need to go far to get your shopping done. It's 10mins away from the harbor (as is everything in hong kong). The restaurant attached is also quite good. Service was excellent, staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor and a view of the harbor

expected service and room quality from the well known brand. Good location and it was really easy to get a taxi. The service was quite good but can be better, Service was not very discreet and the food at the Chinese restaurant was very disappointing.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the lifts.

First time in Hong Kong and stayed two nights after two weeks in Thailand. Hotel is beautiful and had all the luxuries that we missed in Thailand. Perfectly located to access the MTR station and we had access to the lounge for snacks and drinks which was totally worth the additional cost. Staff was helpful in recommanding sites to visit and made my kids feel special. Pool was open until 11 PM which the kids enjoyed. I would totally recommand this hotel

My family and I stayed at this hotel in June. We were upgraded to the suite and overall, we had a pleasant stay.
The hotel is clustered together with other hotels-Conrad, Shangri la and Upper House. It has a great view of the harbor and Kowloon side, a park beside it, the Pacific place mall downstairs, and Star street at the back with quaint little restaurants. HSBC is just next door. MTR station is the Admirality stop. You could access the station by using the lift located outside the hotel, by the driveway.
Our room had a sitting room, large bedroom and bathroom. The furnishings were clean but could be updated. Except for the teacup which was not properly washed, we were more than comfortable in the room.
We had access to the lounge on the upper floor and it was great. They served breakfast, snacks and cocktails. Spread consisted of juices, coffee, tea, egg station, muffins, noodles, dimsum, usual breakfast sausages, fresh fruits. The snacks spread included sandwiches, cookies, soda, coffee, tea. Peanuts, cookies, chocolates for cocktails. Go to the second floor of the lounge to enjoy the view of the harbor. Lots of reading material here too. Children below 12 years not allowed though.
Will book here again but perhaps on a not-too-busy weekend.

Room Tip: Ask for room with view of the harbor.
