I stayed here with my husband for his birthday. The hotel has small rooms, as expected for most HK hotels. When we stayed here, it was already managed by Shangrila so i know its not going to be a bad hotel.

Our room was neat, bathroom was small too but still enough space. Clean, which is important. Theres a sink by the entrance door though.

Food, theres wasnt that much of variety of food for their breakfast buffet, but still ok.

Location was good. Not in Central but transportation was everywhere.

We got a harbour view by our window so it works good.

All staff are friendly. Location is not bad, can easy find the public transpotation or use the hotel free shuttle to arrive central district.Room is very nice and clean. The bed is very comfortable. I am sure I will come back again.

Arrived from KL about 3 pm. Room wasn't ready so had to change in restroom for business meeting at 3.30.
On return room fine on 22 floor. Fruit and chocolates provided as an apology. Room small but very well designed . great views.
Held a reception for 20 people. Good food and nibbles. Service helpful.
Breakfast good. hotel is a bit far from transport but Rtm is being extended to reach this area, so I guess it is up and coming.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with a view

I had no idea what hotel I was after when my son and I decided to go to Hong Kong. Following some research decided on Traders Hotel. I understood that the hotel was not in Central but a little bit of public transport adds to the highlights of a holiday and since we would not be in Central everyday it did not matter. Hotel certainly met my expectations and more. Air con worked well, wireless internet worked, beds comfortable and all clean and to top it off, I was really surprised to see an Australian power point. No need for me to fiddle around with my adaptors. Certainly would stay here again when in Hong Kong.

Room Tip: Room on level 15 with view of harbour is what we were allocated and it was fine. Anything higher would probably be even better.

This hotel is quite long way from central but otherwise it is very good hotel.
Rooms are clean and staff is attentive and welcoming. Traders club feels like home,
it is a good place to rewind after busy day.

Rooms are quite small but adequate.

The tram stop is near so the travel to central and back is quite easy. Also hotel
shuttle is convenient to get to central.

Note that it might be a bit problematic to get taxi from central to hotel in weekend nights.
Try to get taxi that is heading to west, the ones in central might not want to drive to west.

Room Tip: Select room that has access to Traders lounge. It is worth the money.
