The hotel is very clean & efficient. It is in a more residential neighborhood than I prefer. Also, the harbor views are rather limited and are not "The" harbor view that one might have in mind when visiting HK. (If you want the postcard views & best light show views - stay at the InterCon on Nathan Rd. on Kowloon side.)
The rooms are very compact. We stayed in a suite and it was a bit cramped (by American Standards) for 2 people with luggage.
The club offers an above average breakfast (American & Chinese options) - we never made it in the evening for cocktails.
There is a small lobby bar that always had a few ex-pats & Chinese business people. Also, there is a small, but efficient gym on the roof level, as well as an outdoor rooftop pool and lounge deck.
Overall, this is not a full service Shangri-La as one might expect. It is a much more streamlined, compact business hotel that would be suitable for business travel or anyone on a limited budget. Again, the rooms were very clean, but on the small side & the staff was friendly and helpful.More
