Have been to Hong Kong many times but the first time here. Stayed for 7 days in late April early May.
Location is good with a tram stop 50m away and the footbridge over the main road has a lift so no stairs required on hot days if heading to the metro or the sogo centre.
Little harder to catch a Taxi during peak times but not impossible.
Staff very pleasant and no problems with language.
Stayed in a standard room around the 16th floor which was spacious enough, reasonably modern and clean.
Only downside for me is no pool and if I was staying any later in the year I would stay somewhere else but only for this reason.

Room Tip: Only the upper floors offer a view other than other buildings

Got a suite and it was spacious... this hotel in general is pretty good.

Staff is nice
You do have to walk 5-10 minutes to SOGO/Times square through a bridge walkway. The only thing i didnt like was on the weekends, the bridge is filled with people who likes to sit outside and picnic...

there is a tram right outside the hotel though...

this is a good enough hotel if you are not looking for something cheap or luxurious...

The room was super clean and very comfortable. Internet was fast and the air conditioning was powerful. The view was just other old residential buildings, but we went throughout Hong Kong for better views. The area around the hotel was pretty good. Victoria Park is nothing to brag about...lots of Muslim women huddled around in groups eating and there was a labour protest going on there when we arrived. Lots of expensive shopping around with tons of people in the area. In between the hotel and Causeway Bay MTR station exit is a Wellcome Superstore market. Yes, welcome was spelled wrong. It was a good place to buy some fruit and drinks and take-out items. Overall our stay was really good at the Rosedale On The Park and I felt that the room was a lot bigger and cheaper compared to what I read about Hong Kong hotel rooms on the internet.

Although tucked away in a back street, Rosedale on the Park is surprisingly convenient and well located for getting around Hong Kong. It's a short walk to two great shopping areas (SOGO Dept Store and Times Square) and just a short walk to the subway.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. There are plenty of helpful staff, speaking good English and actively trying to make your stay smooth and pleasant.

The rooms are a good size, by Hong Kong standards. They're clean and have adequate facilities, including wifi. They're quiet and are well curtained.

The breakfast is acceptable, receiving an extra point for having a clean espresso machine available.

All in all, this is a very good value hotel and I'll be staying here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Location is great all within walking distance to shopping area n train station.. Right opposite Victoria park. Staff is always helpful and thoughtful. The only downside is the room is too old and bed was way too hard for us. Eventhough the hotel is right next to a major route but the room is quite. However, would try some other hotel next time though.

We booked a junior suite for 1 week in April. The first suite allocated to us had a strong musty smell due to a water leakage problem in the bathroom. When I requested a room change the next day this was done immediately. We were upgraded to a slightly larger apartment on an "executive floor" (L27), which only contains 8 suites so it was quieter than the lower floors. A cot was provided free of charge (not prebooked). The combined eating/lounge area of the suite was acceptable, however the bathroom was tiny. The wifi reception in the room was ok.

The kitchenette was very poorly equipped. The only supplies were: 2 teaspoons, 2 mugs, 2 sachets each of coffee, tea and sugar. I had to repeatedly request additional tea bags during our stay. The sink was made of plastic and was very warped and faded. During our stay there was a power supply problem with the fridge such that it was not cold at all (replacing the fridge with a different one did not help). The room service menu had a very small selection. I ordered a club sandwich, part of which was very burnt.

Our room rate included buffet breakfast, which had a selection of Asian and Western items. The food quality was average only, but a thumbs up for the expresso machine provided (real coffee!).

The location of the hotel is good if travelling with children, as it is situated opposite Victoria Park. The playground inside the park has no shade protection (so remember the hat and sunscreen). We also discovered towards the end of our stay that there is a 7-Eleven, McDonalds, Starbucks and Fairwood restaurant within walking distance of the hotel (no need to cross the footbridge to the main part of Causeway Bay). On the other side of the footbridge are Wellcome and International supermarkets. The footbridge has a lift which is useful for those travelling with prams. Note that the closest MTR lift access point is behind Sogo, which is 5-10 minute walk away over the footbridge, depending on the crowds. If visiting Ocean Park, it is a fairly short cab ride away (about 20 minutes depending on traffic). Much easier than the MTR+bus option.
