“Good clean rooms, great location however comes at a price”

Stayed there for six days in a harbour view room on the 37th floor and view was indeed quite impressive. Room was nicely appointed but quite small; same applies to shower/bathroom. Location is central with many attractions in walking distance and close to public transport. Some dining options immediatley surrounding the hotel. Breakfast was reasonable but same every day and on two occasions had to wait 10 min + to get a seat in restaurant. Receptions staff friendly and helpful. However price fairly high but Hong Kong is quite expensive.

Definitely love the location just across from Macau ferry terminal, Western Market or Sheung Wan MTR station. Upon check in the staff upgraded me to the higher level room with panoramic Hong Kong view to Tsim Sha Tsui. The room was great and come with all the needs plus the staff is friendly. Can easily explore the surrounding of Hong Kong Central district by walking from the hotel. Will definitely stay with this hotel in near future.

Just returned from HK.
Stayed in the hotel during the fair. It is actually on the edge from SOHO and like 2-3 blocks from MTR which is convenient.
Internet is good. The hotel is clean. People are friendly.
Only drawback is the selection on the breakfast. It is all the same. Almost no fruit and only 2 types of toast bread.
Room size - well for a coulple they are ok. But do not expect too much

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Soho. Getting to the hotel from Hong Kong station is a breeze. We jumped on the free shuttle (H1) and it is the first stop of 4 hotels, which takes no longer than ten minutes. Checking in was quick and easy. The room had a great layout, and it was great that there was a sofa chair and desk that were functional and not just there to tick boxes. The bed was comfortable, and we weren't disturbed by street noise. The free buffet breakfast was good, offering eggs, breakfast sausages, noodles, vegetables, toast, cereal, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice.

The location is excellent. Sheung Wan is a great area to stay in with many food options, both western (Mc Donalds, Subway, Starbucks) and local. A quick stroll to Central/IFC mall which would take about 10 minutes. We found it easier to walk to Central to catch the MTR than catch it from Sheung Wan station. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I were connecting to a flight the next day and just needed a place to stay overnight. Locations close to the airport were more expensive so we just jumped on the train directly from airport and then connected to a free shuttle.
There was nothing outstanding about the hotel, but it was a solid overnight stay.

The hotel is simply great. Arriving at the hotel, my check-in went smoothly and I was on my way to the room. The building is very eco friendly as the lights have motion sensors that only turns on when you are near.
The room was simply amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows with two options, soft or hard. The shower room is perfect. Free wifi through out the place. This is place is just great for travellers and business people who wants a place to have a good night stay, and a place to have discussion with their friends or business associate. The 3rd floor has a GREAT ROOM, Laundry services and ironing board.
Down the road is the MTR for Shueng Wan and it connects you to all Hong Kong.

Room Tip: Try to get a higher floor. You have have a nice view of the jetty.

I just returned from spending 5 nights at this hotel and it was great overall. Below are a few pros and cons.

Pro: location - very near subway, airport station and in a moderately busy part of HK (not overwhelmingly crowded like other areas). 7-11 and Mc Donald's with 1/2 block, many other small restaurants surrounding hotel, supermarket 1 block away, currency exchange counters nearby. Rooms are very clean and have comfortable beds. In room fridge, safe and complementary bottles of water. Also serve free breakfast. Great service from the front desk.

Cons: small and slow elevators. Breakfast has the same choices every day. Bathroom doesn't have a solid wall, but is rather a frosted glass enclosure - if you are sharing a room with someone you'd be able to see their body outline when they are in the shower. Might not be a great place if you are sharing a room with just a casual friend.

I would definitely stay here again! This hotel is a good value in a very expensive city.
