“Excellent Lunch Spot”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

Harringtons is a wonderful new spot in LKF. They've remodeled a very dark Irish pub into a bright, open, airy space with lots of light. I've only been for lunch, but the food is fantastic. The set lunch includes one of the best salad bar's in Hong Kong, a good size main, and a nice little dessert.

“British Style Gastropub Food in Hong Kong”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

I have had quite a few meals at Harrington's since it opened a few months back. The lunches are fantastic, but I most like to get stuck into a good dinner there. My favorite choice on the dinner menu is the Wagyu rib on the bone. This is not to be missed if you have a good appetite. The meat quite literally fell off the bone and the flavor was superb. The baked beetroot (if you are a beets fan) is not to be missed and I also really enjoyed the brussel sprouts side. The crispy roast chicken is another option where you can't go wrong as the flavor was again spot on. For starters I often get the pork belly skewers or the burrata and tomato salad, thou the haloumi and veg kebabs would be up there as well. Aside from the food, there is a good wine list on hand, as well as some very tasty cocktails. You could easily eat off the starters menu and throw back a few cocktails to start your night there. All in all I was very pleased to find authentic Brit/American food in the midst of Hong Kong.

I called extremely politely in to make a reservation for 4 people at 8pm tonight but was told that "there is nothing available after 9pm" i asked him politely again if there is any chance.. and then he said " As I have just told you there is NOTHINIG available before 9 and I would have given you a table if there is one' in a very frusturating tone...
Then I asked for his name and said the service that I was receiving was not very friendly... and there you go! SLAMMED....

I know that you are busy and probably one of most popular new tables in town but wowww.... what about Customer Service!!

A truely bad experience even before visiting the restaurant

“Great new place for drinks or food in LKF”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

Had dinner there last night. Beautiful restaurant (bright and elegant but not stuffy), something similar to what you would find in Chelsea in London. Started with a vegetable and haloumi salad, calf's liver and bacon main and chocolate pudding for dessert, all of which were stellar and nice portion sizes. Service was extremely friendly and attentive (small things like never having an empty water glass were nice touches and not something you often get in Hong Kong). Couldn' really fault anything (only comment is that some of the mains can get quite pricey - HK$160 for a chicken vs. HK$250-400 for lamb/beef)

Bar area was also nice, much more casual and more "blokey" with football on the TV attracting a large after work crowd.

Will definitely make this one of my "go-to" places in the future.

“British gastropub... good service, food and ambience”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

This used to be Dubln Jacks and has now had a glorious makeover.. informal bar near the entrance, restaurant and formal dinner further in.

What sets this apart from the hundreds of other restaurants and bars in the surrounding LKF area is the service and the well presented tables and food; the manager and his team are friendly, approachable and attentive.

The food was delicious.. we were a large dinner party (16 ladies), and the drinks and food were served promptly, hot and accurately. All the dishes were declared winners.

Highly recommended for couples and groups.
