Never realised that there was so much to learn about tea. Tamoko made the workshop really interesting - would thoroughly recommend to anyone, even if you don't think you like tea.

My girlfriend and I found out about this place via Tripadvisor and managed to get an appointment to attend a tea tasting workshop. It was fantastic! We tasted five teas and ended up staying there for over three hours - the tea experts were friendly, chatty and very welcoming. There were a wide variety of teas to taste and we ended up learning a lot. This class was worth attending just as much for the friendly chat as it was the learning experience. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Hong Kong should make time to visit this place.

I has no idea that the kettle mustn't boil, or that a brew is only 1 minute or that your leaves can be used three times over. That and more was learnt on a wonderful tea experience. I am now converted to no milk or sugar and am thoroughly enjoying my tea. Thanks to a very informative tea tasting session. Tea I'll never be the same again

Whiskey tasting - absolutely. Wine tasting - without a doubt. But tea? If anyone can get you going Vivian from Mingcha should do it. She has a sense of enthusiasm that is quite infectious.

Follow these instructions carefully to find Mingcha. Take the MTR to Taikoo and exit on A1. At the top of the stairs stop. Look over the road for the Wah Ha factory building. Take the lift to the 12'th floor, ring the bell and ask for Vivian.

Come prepared to spend a bit of time. Brewing tea is not something that can be rushed.

Dear Peter

Thank you for taking a time to post your review for us.
Also appreciate your instruction to get our tea house, which is really helpful for all visitors.
As you mentioned, tea tasting under ceremony style is a little bit slow. In other words, you can be more relax even in busy city, Hong Kong!

Vivian and all staff are looking forward to seeing you again!
Thank you and best regards,
