Took a train to Prince Edward, was quite easy to find. Got there early on a weekday - before 10.15am, sat down outside the shop and waited till 11am - opening time.
The place is small, well layout to maximize seating, was grateful to be the first batch after waited for almost an hour. The food is well worth the wait. That was the first time I had dim sum without any sweet or spicy sauce. Every bite was full of flavour ...... best dim sum I have ever tried. Will definately visit it again!

Took a chance and went to this place to try out the dim sum since i have already tried Tim Ho Wan before in my previous trip to HK. I thought that it will be difficult to find the place since it is not at your usual MTR station or place that there will be many tourists..

Took a train to Prince Edward and exited at exit A or A2? towards playing field road. Once you emerge from the station turn right and you will be facing playing field road horizontally in front of you. then you turn right and walk down playing field road with the police station on your right and in about 100 metres or so, you will be able to see One Dim Sum across the road where many people are queuing outside the shop. We waited for about 20 min or so and our big group of 6 were able to be seated. This place is slightly bigger capacity than the Tim Ho Wan i remembered at Mongkok.

We sat and ordered a lot of food and could not finish the food... and we thought it was going to be an expensive meal, it turned out that the total bill only came up to HK$300 which is very reasonable for good dim sum and good service!

This place is unlike those dim sum restaurant palace kind with a push card and lot of varieties of dim sum. The very very attractive part of this One Dim Sum that i love is that in small dim sum places such as these, you will find nobody smoking in this restaurant and it is not as rowdy as those big restaurant dim sum places which i have gone before. However, having said that, if you want to experience the true noisy, rowdy dim sum place that the locals go for, then this may not be for you.

Certainly a good place to visit if you want good food at very affordable price.

I tried many dim sum places in Hong Kong, and this was definitely one of the best. Their pork buns are fantastic. Their fried egg pastry with condensed milk is one of the best things I have ever eaten! However, we had to wait 2 hours for a table. Granted, it was over the weekend. The staff are very friendly and helpful to foreigners. Great place. And best of all, very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. $20 for 2 of us to eat a whole lot of food! Definitely recommended.

On a busy Sunday afternoon .. We waited for almost an hour in line ...to sample and experience our fist Dim Sum at this gem of an eatery .. It is definitely worth the wait !! I have not tasted such a delicious Chicken feet for over a few decades .. It was piping hot .. Spicy and just so yummy !!! and the desert Ma Lai Ko are outstanding !, Even their chilli sauce are so tasty !! My understanding One Dim Sum is not Michelen starred yet but recommended by Michelen !! nonetheless .. It worth the Michelen star Status !!
the service are friendly and efficient and price are very reasonable !! such a gem and definitely not to be missed !! as a matter of fact .. Am returning tomorrow with my parents to sample their other delights ! thank you One Dim Sum .

Had lunch / dim sum here, and its really excellent! In Prince Edward its just around the corner from the MTR station. About 3-4 minutes walk along Playing Field Rd on a side road, corner of Fa Yuen St. Note that the name is in Chinese only, so see my pic of the frontage.
Prices very reasonable, quality just great. Order by marking your choice on the pre-printed menu (see my pics).
A great local cafe offering terrific value - with queues outside every lunchtime so go early!
