I had only been to Armani years ago, and had never come back because it fell short of everyone’s expectations. Returned last night for a special wine pairing event, and was so surprised. Completely revamped, Armani Aqua now represents what you think going to dinner at Armani should be like, from the sleek entrance to the clean lines of the interior decoration. The food also lived up to its hype, a delicate fusion of western cooking styles with Japanese ingredients. I will definitely be returning to try dishes off the al a carte menu. After dinner we headed up to the deck, and again, surprised as to why I haven’t come here for after work drinks. A uniquely large deck, in the heart of Hong Kong.

Overall, a great experience, and will definitely be looking out for other events Armani Aqua will be hosting.

After the madness and the rush while shopping...staying at Armani for coffee and real good dessert would be an amazing experience. The ambience and the wonderful service would take the tiredness away from your system...entering the facade is a sight to behold.

I didn't like the music (too much latin music), but the terrace is nice and cocktail good and quickly delivered. So sad to drink champagne in plastic glass though.

Located in Hong Kong's central business district. Surprisingly good italian fare in a very dark, trendy restaurant. Mostly a business crowd for lunch when I went, which was mid-week. Very good service by the staff. Food was served quickly and courses in succession. There is an interesting hallway entrance with reflecting mirrors and candles that strangely reminds me of the repeating reflective hallway at the Disneyland haunted mansion. Beef carpaccio appetizer was excellent. Mushroom risotto was a bit undercooked but still tasty. Black cod entree a bit salty for my taste but presented well, and I ate the entire entree so I suppose it was good enough. Very good tiramisu desert. Would recommend this place for a business lunch. They also have a japanese menu (and a moving sushi bar).

Perhaps it is the decoration or how dark the restaurant is, but it's not comfortable. The food is mediocre, the service is lack lustre, the wine list is ok. You would go to the Armani bar for a drink then have a sit down dinner here. Good default for a business dinner. Definitely go upstairs to the outdoor bar, it is worth it to hang out there if you are in Chater House building. Still can't compete against Sevva.
