The view is good, the food is ok but the price really out weight everything. It is a place where people visit when there is not high expectation for great food but rather a place to socialize and show Hong Kong to people that visit for first time to have a view. The service is ok depending of which waiter. And the view neither is that great rather the restaurant next door is a best choice.

For our last night in Hong Kong, we decided to venture to the 29th floor of iSquare for an Italian meal during the light show at the end of Golden Week without a reservation! Not expecting a table, we were delighted to be offered a window table with less than 15 minutes to the beginning of the Light Show, even though it was suggested that the minimum spend for the privilege was $HK400 pp, so was this going to be another expensive meal? Not really, when the quality of the food, wine and service were taken into consideration. We each enjoyed our choices - Caesar salad, Papardelle with wild mushroom ragu and black truffle slices, a fabulously thin wild mushroom pizza with fontina cheese and, again, black truffle and a garnish of fresh rocket which was preceded by a beautiful dish of a duo of Iberian aged hams, one with melon(24 months' aged) the other with fresh fig but ham aged 36 months! What a joy to be able to compare the merits of these two distinct varieties on the one plate. Washed down with a bottle of still mineral water AND a lovely half bottle of Barolo, vintage 2005, all in all a very enjoyable evening.

All you can eat salad and desert plus a main course (choosing from a pasta, pizza, fish and meat dish) and coffee/tea for HK$160 to $210. Where else can you find the deal like this in Hong Kong. Salad buffet is full of fresh vegetables, smoke salmon, prosciutto, cheeses, and specially prepared chicken, mushroom and bean salads, etc. Main course selection changes weekly. I like their salmon main course the best, cooked perfectly. You also get a perfect view looking over Hong Kong Island. A good place to have an inexpensive lunch date that you won't look cheap.

In the Michelin rating conscious culinary scene of HK, Sorriso misses out. Its food is very average, and service sporadic. My spaghetti with scallops and chilli oil although promising in description, was slightly hard and lacking flavors. The good part is prices are reasonable, and its relatively easy to get in (compared with some other restaurants at I Square. Nonetheless, the sweeping breathtaking views of the harbor and skyline would be a compelling reason to dine in this restaurant.Food comes second

We had initially tried to book into the Aqua Bar Roma but it was booked out.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at the Langham Kowloon. You get excellent views of the harbour to watch the light show, which is what we wanted. Although the best place to watch the light show is actually on the harbour.

Food was good, (desert was excellent, warm chocolate cake. Hot chocolate inside, a bargain for the price they charge for deserts )and service was good. Cost for five of us was about AUD $80 each Hkd $3000 total. This was with two bottles of Australian wine. Prices are very reasonable given the view.

I would highly recommend for a nice meal and view of the harbour. An excellent experience to have in Hong Kong.
