“restaurant or bar?”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

Sports bar with average food. If you want to enjoy a game or just have a different kind of beer, then it is your place. Food is average and service could be better. A little bit pricey for the normal food.

“An average place that could be much better”
Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

A few month ago I wouldn't have wrote anything about this place but lately a lot of improvement was made on both food and service level.
Burgers are good, steaks are not bad and a nice fresh sea food selection is available.
Staying on the ground floor level is probably a better choice than the first floor.
If you're a sports fan you will like this place.
Prices are a bit on the high side.

“Good steakhouse and grill”
Reviewed April 13, 2012 via mobile

This was a good steakhouse based on the American style. The food was nice. If you want a grill and are in HK this will be fine.

“Grand Central is "The Place" for Sports TV - over good foods and drinks!  It shows sports from the USA!”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

Review on Grand Central, HK

Grand Central is "The Place" for Sports TV - over good foods and drinks!  It offers coverage of all major sports, including games from the United States such as NFL (YES, the Super Bowl!), NBA, NHL, ATP, WTA! It opens at 7am (6:30 at times) for breakfast, in time for the night games back in the US! Another plus for Grand Central is its great location, in an area which is an attraction for locals and tourists alike!

It is a very popular, medium size, western styled, charming SPORTS bar with 2 levels.
It offers a variety of beers, wines and cocktails, special combos of tasty bar foods and drinks! The service is excellent, all staff is fluent in English. The price is quite reasonable: for my wife and me. a nice "combo of a bucket of mussels with a large beer", a glass wine and an extra order of garlic bread ran us about HK$330 (std 10%service charge included). A beer is about HK$50-70. Yes, it does offer happy hours with a slight discount on drinks. My wife and I had a good time there watching the Australian Open, and plan to go back there for the Super Bowl over breakfast!

Grand Central Bar and Grill is located in the spectacular Roof-Top, in the Civic Square atrium, right above the famous high-end "Elements" Shopping Mall.  The Elements is actually within the huge complex of Hotel/Luxury Living/Subway MTR station, in the Tsim Sha Tsui district, which is an attraction in itself for locals and tourists alike. The Rooftop Civic Square has many gardens, pavilions, a nice fountain, a performing stage area, and several restaurants and bars, not to mention the spectacular view of the harbor and the skyline of Hong Kong. In the Elements Mall below, one can also find numerous high-end shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas, an ice skating rink (with kids hockey leagues!); the famous Ritz Carlton and W Hotel, as well as bus terminals (servincing local and to China) and MTR station (including service to airport). Half a mile walk away is the beautiful West Kowloon Promonade, where one can take a leisure stroll along the shoreline and enjoy a spectacular close up view of the harbor and the city of Hong Kong across.
