This brand new shopping mall is located on Kowloon's most crowded street: Nathan Road.
When I stared at the iSquare building, I was most impressed by its translucid facade (entirely made of enormous glass panels and steal) through which you see giant escalators connecting the many different floors. So I decided to have a look at this from the inside and I rode the escalators up and down until I had lost my orientation, which is easy because of the absurd way the floors are connected to each other.
I realised during my wandering that the shops are not the most interesting ones in my opinion.
However, there is a great variety of japanese restaurants on the floors 5 and 7 (or was is 6 and 8?) that teased me. I came back later (and used the elevator) to try one of them out. Nishiki Don was fabulous, even if lacked in atmosphere.
On the top floor, there is a cinema complex. On the basement floor, you'll find a supermarket with a fine assortment of goods and some other food-shops.
