“heavenly coffee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

THIS is the best coffee shop in Hong Kong - Must try for the coffee connoisseur. Food is average but the atmosphere in unique and the service is very friendly.

“Delicious coffee and food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

Small place but very delicious coffee and breakfast. The scrambled egg & bacon & croissant/toast included a large coffee for HK$ 45.

“Something different”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2012

18 Grams is a tiny place (with no doors) on the corner, where you can have a very nice breakfast. It is unique, which I like in a place. You share a table with others and since its so small, it has a cuteness to it.

The food costs the same as in most cafes in Hong Kong. I had an omlette with a croissant and my husband had a muesli. The muesli had mint in it and I know I will steal this idea...

“Great, but very compact, coffee shop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2012

Tucked away in a corner of Causeway Bay, 18 Grams serves some of the best coffee in Hong Kong, and no more expensively than the major chains. There's very little seating, but as long as you're happy to pick up your coffee and go, that doesn't matter. As well as the usual lattes, mochas and cappucinos, there are a few idiosyncratic drinks (the shakerato, best understood as "espresso and lots of sugar", for when you need an instant pick-me-up, and the Vienna - posh hot chocolate, although a little fatty for some tastes).

Although it's nestled on a fairly busy street, noise from outside isn't intrusive, and there's also food available - but having never got a seat there, we've never sampled any of it.
