A big fan of the original in Kennedy Town and have now twice recently tried the new Soho branch. Kitchen quality remains excellent, and they did not miss a beat! Cod fish brandade, mussels, pate, olives etc. all excellent starters. Bouillabaisse, lamb, slow-cooked beef all excellent mains. Ask about the specials, as David usually has something new in the kitchen... but not enough portions to add to the menu. Service still needs a bit of work, with season staff a familiar pleasure... and some of the newbys a bit clueless. Won't detract from your experience... and may likely provide some comic relief.
