The museum is one of seven museums included in the weekly pass that costs less than four US dollars (what a bargain). No photography is allowed in the museum while most of the other museums in the weekly pass usually allowed no-flash photography and sometimes flash photography was permitted. The guided tour is free and provided by a local docent.
Our tour guide (docent), "Radar" did an excellent job explaining Medical Dr. Sun's life and how his experiences in Hong Kong and Hawaii resulted in sparking the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty and resulting birth of the Republic of China. If you're a history buff, this museum is fantastic. To me, Dr. Sun is a hero in that he was willing to give up a prosperous life and fight for his fellow citizens and their freedom. He realized what his country's destiny was over a hundred years ago.
Excellent rating for tour guide, low rating for no photography (overall rating = average). Great tour and I walked away with a much better understanding of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen.
