Its pricey but you get what you paid for.. its an excellent meal and service was very good. Ambiance is relaxing too.

Hyatt's has a good old fashioned steakhouse in its Kong Kong hotel. The setting is classic with dark wood finish. The English staff were proper and helpful, if a bit aloof. We selected a nice win and enjoyed our steak dinner and accompanyments. My wife has allergies and the kitchen paid specific attention to ensure she did not have any problems. Evening would have been better had it not beeb raining so hard all week in Hong Kong.

To start with, we partook of the salad bar, which offered some of the best lightly smoked salmon and prosciutto carved off the bone in front of you, that we have ever eaten, along with all the usual trimmings. The salmon and prosciutto both literally melted in your mouth. This was accompanied by a great bottle of Billecart Salmon 1998 champagne. We then had the US Tomohawk Rib Eye for two, which arrived perfectly cooked medium-rare, together with duck fat fries, which was accompanied by a bottle of Domaine des Lambrays Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Les Loups 2004, which was recommended by Rex, the sommelier. We were very well looked after by Manager, Florian Hoelmer. There was a great ambience and the staff were very attentive.

I loved the atmosphere. As to the food, I recommend the Salad bar and their excellent meat.
They also serve very nice wines.

Dinner here on one occasion during my stopover last month.
Started with fish cakes and followed with an Angus Steak
for the main course.
Staff very helpful, food really excellent.
One small drawback, the view non existent but you cannot eat the view.
