“Great steak, excellent service, nice atmosphere, open to late. Pricey.”

Great meal, great service and atmosphere. Cosy dining, ambient lightining. Cost on par with what you would normally pay in AUD to dine, expensive. Plus a 10% service charge. Steaks thick and juicy. I tried the hamburger which was excellent. The deserts are fantatsic, especially the apple crumble and ice cream. We were treated to a small apertizer. Whilst I appreciate it is on the expensive side I would still highly recommend - it is a great dining experience and meal.

Open til late.

“Great steak and salad bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2013

Great steak and salad bar. The salad bad is one of the best, comes with smoked salmon and smoked ham, pate, great ceasar salad and crab/corn salad. Good enough as a meal by itself. Tried the USDA ribeye, also excellent. Excellent dessert, black forest ice-cream and apple crumble with ice-cream.

“Cosy hotel steakhouse dining”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2013

Been here thrice for dinner, decent food - the cod main is not bad (for the best cod dish go to Nobu at Intercontinental), scallops are good and thick. Not sure about the salad bar, could do with a bit more elaboration being Grand Hyatt I think. My favorite is still the dessert you can set on fire - warm, sweet, a bit alcholicky. Go figure (and try!) Oh and the mudpie. Very good, thick, heavy american chocolate dessert. The accompanying vanilla dessert didn't matter much.

p.s. If you're not a fan of super (too) cosy, dark, somber dining environments, like myself, you may not enjoy your dining experience here as much as another steakhouse with views. (Hint: Intercontinental, Ritz) Service is pretty good but for your reference, most wait staff is disengaged locals. A few overly enthusiastic western waiters. Don't think I'll return on my own accord but would consider it as a choice for certain group/ occasion dining. Cheers!

“Fabulous experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2013

We had a fantastic company Christmas gathering and were looked after very well. The new restaurant manager is superb and ensured that everything was perfect. Patty is another gem in this place, she is always smiling and very professional in all ways! The food was excellent and we will certainly come back. Art6 Hong Kong Ltd.

“terrific”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

one of the best steak ever, we spent 3 nights in HK and returned 2 times at this restaurant, excellent service, nice athmosphere, some doubts on the wine list and prices but we know duties are very high in HK about wines. Our beef was definatelly remarkable. Wish to be back one day.
