“New discovery for us”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

Not only the view is great (ask for a window table), but the food is excellent. I f you want a romantic dinner for 2, in all calm (...and this is really difficult to find in HK) and ..."en plus" great food...do not hesitate, this is the place to be. It is a bit out of the way of Central, but it is so worthwile.

“Really great meal”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Met old friends at this restaurant. I had spring chicken on the advice of my friend's wife - was delicate and tender, cooked to perfection. My husband had a curry dish - he loved it. Able to talk, could hear each other well, and it felt private - a rarity for Hong Hong.

“Delightful, sumptuous and tasty, complimented with fantastic service!!”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

I normally like to visit "stand-alone" restaurants as opposed to those with tenancies in large hotels but in Hong Kong, most are part of a hotel so as the saying goes, "when in Rome ..."
The Grand Hyatt was certainly well appointed and the restaurant location was fantastic overlooking HK Harbour.
Being CNY, there was a banquet menu (5 course) on offer which we choose with the accompanying wines so we could sit back and relax, taking in the ambience.
The food was excellent being beginner Cantonese - black mushroom, BBQ pork, steamed cod, lobster tails, mango pudding etc ... this cuisine would suit the experienced Chinese lover or even a novice ... not too much syrup and foam, more quality ingredients, fresh and so tasty.
The wine chosen to accompany the meals were good - of the 4 styles, half were not as suitable as other choices in my opinion but were pleasant.
When I am back in Hong Kong, I will be sure to visit.
