First, the view! Just a spectacular setting to take Tea in HK. Second the atmosphere, grand piano playing and very comfortable seats. Third, the service excellent as usual. And Forth (importantly) the High Tea ($638HK for two) itself - good selection of teas; savory items were solid enough (cheese tart, ham and cheese brioche....); the scones were good but a scone can never be amazing. Our first batch of clotted cream had soured which was replaced and never spoken of again; the other sweet things were good also with out being amazing. Very good Rum baba and very good Opera and a good financier. The berry tart was more hazelnut than berry but still an okay eating. We had our 7 year old in tow so we took advantage of the reasonably priced kids menu. $140HK for hotdog and $60HK for a good brownie (this item was pick for value for money). Just because we could we ordered the lemon merengue tart. A few $$ at 148HK and was a good curd but little merengue...... All and all a great experience hence the overall very good rating.
