I went to eat at Tosca with my family after getting a referal recommendation by a good friend; and it was not a dissapointment.
They gave us a beautiful table with a magnificent view of Hong Kong, the service team was great in attending to our needs and knowing what we want, especially their head chef, I think his name was Vittorio cooked us one of the best Italian dishes we've ever had and he explained the each of the dishes to us personally. So i definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to have a great dinning experience here.

Tosca Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong offers a cooking Masterclass with the Head Chef, Chef Vittorio. Classes are offered only one Saturday every 2 months. We cooked with Chef at the Chef's table - a private room with kitchen. Small classes so very up close and personal. We ate and drank while assisting the chef then following you sit down to a four course meal with drinks. It was a truely wonderful experience. The view from the Restaurant is breathtaking if it is a clear day. Sunday brunch at Tosca is well worth the visit. My favourite place to go in Hong Kong.

I wasn't there for a dinner, just for a drink with friend and most importantly check out for the highly rated view. That night was hazy, but the view is impressive. We got a seat facing the harbour. I love the Hong Kong skyline from the tallest building in Hong Kong.

went here with colleagues for a celebratory dinner. the location, view and furnishings are spectacular, but the dinner took a nose dive with the food.

we ordered copious amounts of wine and perhaps that dulled the senses, but the ravioli and lamb chops i ordered were anything but special. seemed very bland and dull considering that it was a house specialty.

service was impeccable and the sommelier friendly, but the food just average for fairly steep prices

if you want to go for the novelty of eating above the 100th floor, try lunch instead.

Our second visit in a year was every bit as good as the first, with the food, wine and service all excellent. We were fortunate to have a window table facing Hong Kong Island on a beautifully clear night, H.K. looking her very best.

We selected three signature dishes, the lamb chops and sea bass with antipasti (eggplant, tiger prawn and asparagus soup) beforehand. Presentation was superb. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. Wine was a Montepulciano, just right for lamb. We finished with Tosca tiramisu which was neither too heavy nor sweet, the balance being just as it should be.

Only one small comment - there was a group of noisy children playing near us and away from their table. Our waitress did intervene and the noise was reduced, but we were still aware of them. Perhaps there should be a special family area located well away from other diners.

Overall, a magnificent dinner. Full marks.
