“Sky100 Observation Deck”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2014

Wow what a view from this attraction. Simply worth the $26AUD for the 360degree view. Have been to the peak several times in the past and this observation deck just gives the skyine view of Hong Kong a different outlook. Unfortunately the day we picked was cloudy however we could still see everything. We also decided to have High Tea up there and was a wonderful way to finish off this attraction. At $280 HK for two people it was enough to fill us for lunch. We were looking at going to the Peninsular Hotel for High Tea however at $600 HK for two we felt that, that was a little over the top. I know the Peninsular has a reputation however when on a budget one just has to compromise. It is easy to get too although we took a taxis from our hotel (Kowloon Hotel). You can get there by MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui (Red line) go to Central station and change trains to Kowloon station. The Sky100 is location in this area. There is a courtesy help desk to ask directions.

“Great views but pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

There are great views across to Hong Kong Island and the New Territories. There are a few displays up there. It's a little expensive though.

“Visit at night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

The lobby of the Sky 100 tower gives you an executive impression. It was well lighted and it even has a mall adjacent with the building for easy accessibility. Going up to the 100th floor takes around a minute or two. I definitely rode one of the fastest elevators yet. The observation deck area at the top floor was wide enough to accommodate hundreds of people at the same time. For those who are afraid of heights and are worried you'll have nothing to do, savor yourself with little chunks of trivias because the walls are decorated with very informative details about the Sky 100 tower project as well as details about the world's tallest buildings. If I remember it right, I think Sky 100 is ranked 6th among others. A cafe is even located at the top floor offering limited but delicious choices of food. I strongly suggest that you visit here at night in order to see the Hong Kong skyline shimmering with night lights! One of the best views in Hong Kong!

“Nice view over Hong Kong - but expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

Before going up to have a great view of Hong Kong, please consider the following:
- Two adults + two kids is 500 HKD+. We spent 45 minutes up there which was enough. Quite a high price.
- Make sure you pick a day with clear sky. We thought it was, but could not see that far.
Since it is “only” a view of Hong Kong (which is great), they have added some fun photo possibilities. Fun, but nothing to do with a view of Hong Kong

“not worth it for photographers”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2014

This is an indoor-only observation deck and while the windows are floor-to-ceiling they're also dirty and produce lots of glare. While this might be a nice place to take kids it's near worthless for serious photography. Making matters worse is that it's also astonishingly overpriced.
