Ok so its a budget hotel. typical small room for Hong Kong standards with small bathroom / shower. location is good next street it temple st market. short walk to Mongkok. Breakfast was adequate. Room was clean and new.

Best thing about this hotel was that you get a smartphone which includes FREE wifi / 3G / local and international calls. take this phone anywhere and you have GPS so you will never get lost. First hotel of it's kind to see such a addition and well worth it.

Easy room change as we didn't like the original one we were given (twin bed), staff friendly.

Would stay here again given the smart phone addition as it made our trip so much easier.

Thanks again for the wonderful stay.

All the basic needs of a traveller is available.
We arrived early in hong kong description to find the hotel was not explained well thru agoda. If your taking the mtr take off at yau ma tei station exit c then cross the pedxing and find portland st turn right and after two minute walk youll find the hotel.
No early check 2pm is the check in time but there is storage free of charge there you can come back later and see the city while waiting.
Room is small but all the essentials are available. Limited channels on tv. Great wifi free service.
Breakfast is included and will really stuffed ones appetite and give enough energy for walking around the metro.
Staff are friendly but english is only secondary language so need some patience to understand.
Near to evrything from market mtr attractions.
Simple yet the best. A must stay if your looking for a place to store laggage and sleep.

If there was one word to describe M1 Hotel, it would be, Convenient.

Located near the end of the Temple Street Market, M1 Hotel is also close to many entrances of the Yau Ma Tei MTR station. The building is just behind nathan road so walking back to the hotel right after you stroll the night market isn't dangerous.

Although the rooms are a bit tiny, it has the essentials things you would need to have a good night's sleep. The beds are comfortable the blankets are enough to keep you warm at night. A bay window can be used to settle your luggages if you would want more space inside your room.

The bathroom has frosted walls so if you are travelling with friends, it would be a little bit awkward to take a shower. During our stay, we had to cover the frosted glass wall dividing the bathroom and the sleep area with gift wrapper so that we were more comfortable using the toilet.

Another good thing about the hotel is that if offers fast internet access (WIFI), both inside the rooms and in the dining area.

Breakfast is usually included with the room but I suggest you take your meals either at 7am or around 10am because seats in the cafe are limited. Also, they offer the same breakfast items everyday. They usually change one dish per day. They also do not have a water dispenser.

M1 Hotel also sells Ocean Park, Disney Land, Ngong Ping tickets for a lower price.

If you only wish to have a comfortable room to sleep in and a place that is close by an MTR station then M1 is definitely a good hotel choice.

Room Tip: Choose a room at a higher floor.

located in Yau Ma Tei, 10 mins walk to Mong Kok the great shopping shopping area for local people. MRT is right behind the hotel. Lot of Buses nearby. A21 airport bus city flyer also stop opposite the hotel (Man Ming Lane) ($33 HKD) the cheapest mean of airport/hotel transport and only took 45 mins

Room is quiet small but good enough for sleep, new modern decoration style made so comfortable to stay in such a small room. Overall is very good value for money,

the rooms are really small and there isn't much walking space. You will basically reach every point (i.e toilet, ned) within one walking step. Nonetheless, its still pretty cosy for 2.

Pros:
- Near Yau Ma Teh MTR Station
-Breakfast was not bad
-Value for money and it's superb location to all night markets.
-friendly and efficient staff.

Cons:
-dusty floor
-There is only a sheer bath curtain that separates the shower taps from the toilet seats. hence the whole toilet will be wet after you finish showering
-no wardrobe or closet for you to unpack your belongings. only 3 hangers provided
- there is a coffin shop besides our hotel, but it wasn't eerie or creepy at all

overall, if you are not oversize, it's still not that bad to stay.

Great location, 3 mins walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station.
Room is really small, 3 steps in and you will reach the bed. If you have a big luggage, its going to be quite a problem going in. They do have this sofa sitting area beside the window where you can put your luggage to save space.
Cleanliness was not a problem, and the hotel was pretty modern.
Lobby staff and housekeeping staffs were friendly.

Room Tip: Choose high floor so it would not be too noisy.

Excellent value for money. Free tea & coffee 24 hours. Free internet 24 hours.
Make sure you get a deluxe room & not a standard room.
Breakfast was Asian style, but did have tea, milk, toast, butter & jam. We did buy cereal & low fat milk & took to breakfast room. Smallish room, but spotless. No pool.
Located in an old area of Kowloon. Plenty of 7 11& Starbucks around. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. MRT, buses & ferries reasonable & easy to use. Taxis very reasonable.
Bed was a bit hard, but got an extra duvet with helped. Had a jacket, 2 pair trousers & 2 shirts made by Star Tailors (Sandy), Room 734, 7th floor, No 3 Salisbury Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon. Tel 2377 0698. Mobile 917-5206.
