We stayed at the the RC Hong Kong two days after the hotel first opened in April 2011 and it easily became my favorite hotel The service is the best that I've experienced and there are so many WOW factors.

1. ICC buildling is beautiful. There is a subway station, grocery store, upscale shopping, and nice restaurants at the bottom.

2. From the moment we entered through the doors, the reception was masterfully orchestrated. The staff quickly guided us to the elevators and directed us to the club lounge on the 116th floor for check in. We never had to wait in line and everyone knew who we were and where we had to be.

3. The club lounge was the best hotel lounge I've ever encountered. Since the hotel was not in full operation or occupancy at the time of our stay, we were told there were less than 10 guests staying in a club room and using the club lounge. Regardless, the lounge had enough food to cater for a large wedding banquet. There was a chef waiting to cook whatever you requested, delicious Chinese and continental food waiting to be devoured whenever we stopped by unlike other hotel lounges that offer cheese/crackers, cookies, snack mix and hors d'oeuvres at certain hours. If you miss the time, you pretty much lose out on one of the perks of staying in a club room. The wines and champagne (Billecart-Salmon) were UNBELIEVABLE. My husband and I stopped by for a glass of champagne each time we left the hotel and on our way back to our room.

4. Herve was the club lounge manager during our stay and he was amazing. He helped us during check in and check out. Each time we stopped by the lounge (which was quite often thanks to the champagne), he took time to greet us and to ask how we had enjoyed our day. I have never encountered such a hospitable manager. We even purchased a Ritz-Carlton stuffed lion from the gift shop and named him Herve.

5. We had a club junior suite on the 115 floor with breathtaking views of Hong Kong. We were the first guests to stay in the room and it was pure luxury.

A faultless hotel with spacious rooms at near stratospheric levels where every aspect of the room has been well thought out and carefully designed.

The only thing that spoils it is the haze around Hong Kong presumably caused by pollution so the amazing view often fails to meet its potential.

We were in HK for 5 nights. We stayed at another hotel for 4 nights but everytime we came into view with the highest hotel in the world, we knew we must stay there at least 1 night for the experience.
We were awed from the moment we stepped into the entrance. Beautiful ambience. Warm greetings everytime! Checking in was a breeze. We were personally shown to our room and our luggages were delivered not 10 mins after that. Our room was on 115th floor and comes with free usage of The Club Lounge. We practically spent our last day in HK at level 115, 116 and 118!
The view from up there was amazing. Overlooking the harbor and HK island. The room was so spacious. We love the bathtub, not too big but deep. We love the separate shower room and the toilet. There's also an iPod and iPod dock. And as a coffee lover, the best part in the room is the Nespresso machine! :)
The pool was the best! Comfy sofas and beach chairs. There's jacuzzi and a hot tub!
Two staffs stood out during our stay. Siti and Jackie Hoo from The Spa. Siti for giving us a personalized service, giving us recommendations and tips in and around the building. We bumped into her after our check out while she was walking to work and she walked with us to the airport in-town check in and guide us along the way. She waited with us until our train left the station. Jackie Hoo was attentive and spotted our anxiety. We were running out of time to rush into town to grab a few deli food to bring home (what's with two kids in tow and unfamiliar building names). She offered the use of the bellman to get the stuff for us. She arranged my request and voila! the deli food was delivered to our room not two hours later! We were so delighted and can't thank her enough.
Overall, we love our stay at The Ritz-Carlton. Even if it's just for one night. We will not hesitate to visit and stay at this hotel again the next time we visit HK.

Room tip: All rooms have good views! Our room was on the 115th floor with The Club Lounge facilities. Because we planned to spend our last day in HK just relaxing and for the kids to play the pool, having The Club Lounge facilities is awesome. We didn't have to leave the hotel building to get food. Amazing food was served 24 hours in the Club Lounge. We even checked out from the Club Lounge while we were having breakfast! Awesome!

I just recently back from my trip to HK, as always me and my amazing man stay at Ritz Carlton HK. This time we stayed at room 10932, the view was superb indeed; looking directly to the ocean view on one side and to inland HK on the other.

When you are at Ritz Carlton HK, of course you have to go to the OZONE Club; the highest club in HK, its in the 118th floor. The view was breathtaking, the food (my favorite is their mini burger!!) and the cocktails (first choice, dragon fruit martini, one of the kind). This time ozone was having a cirque verve brunch event with DJ and nonstop flow of champagne, had an amazing time.

During our visit we often spend time at the club lounge on the 116th floor; the ladies there was so nice and always with their sincere smile. On my last day there, I decided to had my breakfast at the club lounge and headed to the airport after. Turn out I have misread my schedule thought I have a 10:50am flight when actually my flight is at 9:10am, while now already quarter to 9. Rushed with panic, I asked the lady there to help me with my flight, after several phone calls she was able to move me to the next flight back to Jakarta, what an Angel :)

With that kind of service and assistance, I'm happily missed my flight just to spend few more hour in HK and of course at the amazing Ritz Carlton Hotel, thank you.....

Cheers,

IndRie

My husband's birthday present was to spend a weekend in Hong Kong. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton hotel and the experience was just AMAZING! They gave us the room 11515, large, with great views and with a delicious birthday cake waiting for me. On top of that, Homan, the person assigned by the hotel to make our stay unforgettable was so attentive and extremely service oriented. She fulfilled her tasks greatly! We had dinner at Ozone, delicious and with breath-taking views and their Chinese and Italian restaurant are also outstanding (remember to reserve in advance). The club lounge has a very relaxed atmosphere and a vast variety of excelent food.
The swimming area is very relaxing and their massages are just ... the best! The staff is always there for you and they are extremely professional. In overall, a fantastic experience that I deeply recommend and we will never forget!

Room tip: My room 11515 was just great! .
