Very convenient and fun to ride specially seating on top part of double Decker. Very well maintained and very cheap to ride. I would strongly recommend for families with kids to ride from one end to other end of city. its same price. Route maps are posted on each station.

Aim for the front seat upstairs on a Hong tram to Kennedy town or Causeway Bay, or .... and watch Hong Kong unfold. It is a brilliant way to see the sights while sitting down, and find new places to explore on foot - and all for HK$2.30!!

Liked - good view of the action, traffic, and people; avoiding the heat; cheap; well-signed.
Disliked - busy (but just wait for a seat).

We went there in the afternoon, the queue was unbelievable long. It took over 1 hour. And the same when we came back, we have to wait about 1 hour. Wasting our time. We rather seeing other places.

The trams are frequent but slow and crowded. However, it offers passenger a different view of Hong Kong Island. Go to the second level for better view and more space.
