We had some time to kill as we reached early and the hotel didn’t have our rooms ready. Walked across to the Kowloon Park and I was pleasantly surprised. The park is big and divided into multiple sections.

The pink flamingos with the water elements were amazing. So was the small bird enclosure.

Considering there is no entrance fee, it a nice place to just take a break from the hustle of Nathan Road and Kowloon in general

We went there on a firm team building activity. There are interesting sightings such as statues and lakes, but I personally would not consider it a holiday attraction to visit.

This is a popular attraction in Hong Kong, China. Situated off Nathan Road and adjacent to the Mosque, the Kowloon Park is a serene place away from the city’s noise, where you can have some silent moment to reflect on a number of issues in life. This park attracts a number of locals especially on Sundays, who meet, and enjoy their weekend as families or friends. This park is amazingly green and you can enjoy a quite time by the pond site watching fish. If you want some time to yourself then don’t go to this park on Sunday.

Take Tsim Sha Tsui Metro exit A1, go strait ahead, then Right at traffic light and the entrance is 100 yards on the Right. This is a great escape from the business and neon of the city - it is near Nathan Rd. There are lots of shade trees, birds (including a large flock of flamingos), koi ponds and peace & quiet.
Entrance is FREE!!

We didn't know Sunday is the day the Indonesian and Philipinoes gather. They were like conquering the garden. They picnicked, karaoked and danced. I felt like I was in Philippines or Indonesia.

We didn't have time to walk around the garden. But it would be a waste to be there if you didn't visit the museum. It is very interesting with a lot of history facts which they are programmed through games like 'spot the difference', matching pictures and videos. I was also surprised that the staffs were polite and friendlier.
