“Hello Inn is a Heavenly Stay in HK”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

I believe you can't find anything better than Hello Inn in Hong Kong, this hustle and buzzle city.

The room is really small but hei, this is HK! The room and bathroom is clean and the bed is super-duper comfortable, so as the bedsheets and comforter.
I stayed 4 nights here, 3 nights in bunk-bed room and 1 night in double room. The air-conditional's remote control is not function very well in the VIP double room.
Other than that, Hello Inn is perfect. Thoughtfully equipped with water boiler which you can get hot water 24 hours and there are cold water prepared in fridge although there's no usual water dispenser.

The room power socket is with travel adapter, the most impressive item which I don't find it in other hostel. There are hair dryer, some shampoo, shower gel and toothpaste in common area
(which I believe was left by other traveller) are put into good use. There are HK travel brochure and books in the common area as well, and most important, the free wifi connection in Hello Inn is very fast.

Thanks so much to Ivan for letting us keep our luggage at the common area after check-out as we are on a night flight.

Hello inn is on 6th Floor, not too high and this enable us to choose from going down the mansion by stairs in the morning as the lift is quite pack. (This only happened in morning)
Hello inn is quiet and peaceful, the entrance is with security lock. After a day with crazy walk in HK, we really feel like coming home when we back to our room.

I seldom give out a 5 star, but Hello Inn truly earned it.

Room Tip: For guy traveller, try not to choose bunk-bed room with the 82cm(smaller) upper-bed, it fit just nic...

Conveniently located nearby the TST MTR station, Hello Inn is clean and well maintained. The room is nice and cozy, although it is compact (just like most of the hotels in HK).

Equipment such as charger, hair dryer, etc are provided at the common area for sharing. In addition, you can borrow the travel books at the common area, provided you need to return it.

Stayed 4 nights over here and overall enjoyed the stay.

Strongly recommended for the travellers who look for budget, convenient and clean hotel.

Staying at Hello Inn is just like staying in a family's apartment - we felt safe even if the main building where it is located looks seedy from the outside. The place is compact and clean - and located right in the middle of TST. Getting around was a breeze via the MTR. We would definitely stay here again next year.

It's so easy to go everywhere, very near to the star fare so you can go to Hong Kong island in cheap price. Anyway ,perfect location!
Rooms are not bad even it's not that big, just as most of the hotels in Hong Kong. It's very clean even though it's a very small pace, Stuff are very helpful and warm-hearted, we came back very late and they wait all the time. Like it!

I stayed in Hello Inn (deluxe double room) for 4 nights in Sep. The location is fantastic. There are plenty of restaurant nearby and the inn is located right beside Exit D1 of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.The size of the room is reasonable given that hotel rooms in HK are small. The room is clean. Although the inn does not provide you complimentary towel, it can be rented for HK10.
I strongly recommend this inn to travellers who is looking for cheap, clean and convenient location.
Overall I enjoyed my stayed in Hello inn. Will come back again! Thanks Ivan!

Room Tip: Choose the Deluxe double room.

Hello inn, in Mirador mansion(6e floor) has small hongkongstyle bedrooms. We had the red room with à double bed. The shower and toilet where inside the room. Ivan can tell you à lot of Hongkong. Cheap Western and Asian restaurants are in the neighbourhood. From THE airport it is very easy to come to Hello inn with bus N 21 of A21.

Room Tip: THE red double room is the biggest room.

We booked 2 rooms - one 3 nights, the other 4 nights in the twin bunk beds. Upon arriving, we were a little sketched out with the building (Mirador Mansion), but once we arrived inside HelloInn, we were much more relieved. The rooms are really clean which were the most important for us! The furniture also looks new, and very "Ikea-like". Even though the rooms are small, it's a given for HK standards. The location is great, as it's located right above Exit D1 at TST's MTR station. Security is pretty good (card scanners to get into the hostel, and into your rooms), and after 11pm or 12am, you must fill in a visitors form to get into Mirador Mansion. Ivan's service really made the stay much more enjoyable! He gave us the security code to get back into the hostel if one of us didn't have the card, and he was quite helpful with our check-out's. Overall, we had a great experience! For the price we were paying per night in TST, it was definitely worth its value. I highly recommend this hostel, and will most definitely stay here again next time =)
