Having eaten at Himalaya 5 or 6 times now, it must be said that the service isn't always top notch, it can be noisy, but you can be assured that the food will always be good, served quickly and piping hot, and the bill at the end is not going to break the bank.
The must-haves are momos, vegetarian samosas, fish tikka, the okra dry-curry and a tamarind-dressed potato salad whose name escapes me. Dishes are simply presented and speak for themselves, and work well against a pint of ice cold beer.
The weekday lunch buffet is also great value for money.
