For this price for a hotel on Hong Kong island and getting a room where it doesn't feel like you are living in a chicken coop I think it's a pretty good deal. Downside is that it is located in Chai Wan which is the last station located on the MTR Hong Kong line - takes you around 20 minutes on MTR to go to places like Central or Causeway bay. Food is no problem, there's small shopping mall located nearby with ample restaurants. 7-11 is nearby as well. Close to MTR station and there are bus stops located nearby should you require cheaper transportation alternative. You can take the A12 to the airport for around HKD 40 on way. Takes around 40 mins to an hour. There is also a local attraction located nearby, go check out the Hakka Gu Uk (Old Hakka House) which is converted to a museum.
Hotel rooms are clean and sparse. Includes free wifi and LCD TV. Showers come with hot / cold water and there are safe boxes in the room.
As a conclusion it satisfies your basic needs in a comfortable manner. But if you are looking for something more then be prepared to pay something much more for a hotel in Central!More
