Super hot day visiting the gardens. It's really nice and peaceful. We bought food at the shops before getting to the gardens but the problem is there are signs everywhere stating you can't eat/drink there.
There was a vegetarian restaurant and cafe there. The staff were quite stern with us and said we can't eat outside, and the food you eat in their shops must be vegetarian because it was sacred ground I guess. It was a bit annoying because we had to hide the fact we were eating.

Anyways, nice garden, just be prepared food/drink wise before you visit

We travelled to the gardens by MTR as it is only a short walk from Diamond Hill station. The gardens are very well looked after and a very restful place among all the high rise towers. They have some beautiful buildings erected among the manicured gardens and lakes. As we did not get there until approx 11am it became a little busy with all the tour groups going through, so go early.

This is a garden that must not be missed. If you are looking for places to relax, this is the one you looking for. A peaceful and calm venue for busy people to wind down.

There is no particular attraction here, none that is out of this world. But the garden is a place to chill and have dozens of photographs. Plenty of bonsais and Buddhist Pine trees coupled with the high rise buildings in the far background - excellent!

Very accessible. Less than 5 mins walk from Diamond Tree MTR station. Do stop by at Hollywood Plaza for some shopping. Its adjoining to the Diamond Hill MTR station.
