“Hong Kong's Movie Royalty”

The Avenue of the Stars runs along the waterfront at Kowloon, it is a bit of fun, the walk is the best part as you are looking back to the Island, I went in the day and then again at night to look at the lights, they do a laser display at 8.00pm each evening which is interesting, they use lasers ontop of some of the highest buildings, it lasts for about 15min and was good to see. The walkway is always busy, very easy to get to via the MTR, well sign posted so you can't get lost.

“A nice walk along the promenade!”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed walking along the Avenue of Stars. We caught the ferry to Kowloon from Wan Chai and started our walk from the Kowloon Clock Tower. We followed the harbour around to reach the start of the Avenue.

Once again - another free attraction and great opportunities for photos. We were lucky that on the January morning we visited it, the sun was out and shining and this made it rather pleasant. The views back to HK Island are great from the Avenue and it is also a good viewing point for Symphony of Lights at 8pm.

Even though I didn't recognise many of the stars on the walk, My family and I had our eyes peeled for Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee's names.

Overall, it makes a nice stroll along the harbour and gave us a different viewpoint of HK.

“Beautiful scenery”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Nice view, easy to travel, simple navigation. Just take MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui Station and follow the signboard. And statue of Bruce Lee is the main highlight here.

“Honoring Chinese movies”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

This is the Hong Kong version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is right at the far end of the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade away from Star Ferry. The view backdrop is fantastic. There are statues of Hong Kong actors like Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee. Obviously, it attracts a large crowd of onlookers, many come from mainland China these days.

“Great sight to watch symphony of light show”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

This is a nice road having hand impression of Stars of Chinese Film Industry. We knew very few of them but it was fun to have photograph with their hand imprints.

Except the meet with star thing, this road also provides a great sight for Hong Kong Skyline and walk on this road along with sea is nice. Once can come here around 8 PM in the night to witness the beautiful and most famous Symphony of Lights show.
