Avenue of the Stars

I was quite disappointed... it wasn´t a big deal.. lots of stars that i didn´t recognize except for the really popular ones like Jackie, Jet, Chow Yun Fatt... it was a good windy walk though

Went there in June, during the hot summer. Had to walk a long path from the MTR Station into the attraction in the sweltering heat only to discover it's nothing more than tons of stars and names of famous celebrities on the ground. Only thing slightly redeeming about the place is the rather nice view of HK Island. Better to come at night with all the neon lights of the buildings turned on which would at least make for a nice camera moment. Totally overrated tourist attraction, I'd advise anyone not to waste their time visiting the Avenue of Stars unless you really have nothing else to do.

The best part about this is the view. It is fun to see the stars. We saw the Chinese stars we knew there too.

It is pretty much the same as the walk of fame from other countries. We arrived here at night just before the Symphony of Lights started. It was a long walk of stars. You will see the different stars with their signatures, well some of the stars, honestly, I dont know them. It was very nice because there were lots of colors while walking there. There are also food to buy there and souvenir shops. This is also a good spot while waiting for the Symphony of lights which is just across the Avenue of the stars.

Even if you have no idea who the stars are, visit in the evening for some of the most amazing panoramic views across the harbour.
