“Pretty good bargain.”

If you're on a budget and want a place to stay right in the city center of Kowloon, where most of the sightseeing areas are, I suggest this place. It's like two blocks away from the MTR, so going from one place to another is very convenient and cheap. Although I haven't stayed in other guesthouses yet, but I bet this one is way better. The staff are very friendly. Security wise, it's okay. there are cameras everywhere, so everything is well monitored. The room is clean but small for three persons, but if you're solo, then the size is enough. The bathroom is way too narrow, but it's very clean. Plus they have wifi in all the rooms. All in all, we got our money's worth.

I got to Hong Kong and was cheated by another motel. Long story short, we stumbled upon Lee Garden Guest House, and fortunately for us we were offered a 3 pax room (1 queen size bed and a single bed). It costs us HKD 650 per night.

We love it here, it feels so much like home. The room were clean, simple and the toilet was exceptionally clean! The staff are friendly and helpful.

However, they are very strict with their operating hours. You will not be allow in the reception area before 9am even if the staff knows that you are waiting outside.

I will definitely, come back and stay here in the future!

Near the Park Hotel - free hotel shuttle bus to/from Airport Express!
Near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station!
Situated in Cameron Road, near Nathan Road - very easy to locate on a map
A few minutes walk to Lock Road to get breakfast
Across 7-11!
Bedroom is clean! If you're out all day, you wouldn't mind the size of the bedroom. You're just going to sleep there anyway!
Friendly staff. You can ask for help from them
You can leave your luggage even after checking out at 12nn.

Room Tip: Choose a bedroom with no bathroom. There's a clean shared bathroom anyway.

They weren't kidding when they said guesthouses in Hong Kong are tiny! Rooms in Lee Garden sure are, but they are very, very, very clean! Our first night was not quite good because we were put in a very tiny room with a dripping ceiling and a broken air conditioner. So if you stay there, please tell them not to put you in room 40. We demanded to be transferred, and they complied. Our second room is room 8F. It was very small but very clean, so everything's good. We stayed there until our last day. If you're looking for a place to just crash after a long day, this place is for you!

Room Tip: Not in room 40!

Stayed here for 3 nights on Nov 2010. Location is in Cameron Road, very near Nathan Road, only 3 minutes walk to MTR station, fast food like KFC, McD, Yoshinoya is 2 minutes away. Rooms are comfy, bathrooms are clean, the owner was nice and friendly.

I stayed for four nights, with 2 kids, in a triple room and I was very happy with the room and the service. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and the room is kept very clean and tidy. It's definately not a swanky hotel by any stretch, but I felt it had more character and more of a feel for HK, than staying in a generic sterile western hotel. It's all quite small - if you are really tall, or really wide it won't suit - otherwise very spartan but clean and functional. It's a good part of town for kids - easy walking distance to History and Space Museum, both of which are excellent, and the ferry and light show. We had a hard time trying to find decent Chinese food that wasn't touristy or a rip off, but there's plenty of other choices like Japanese, KFC, etc, if thats what you're after.

I stayed at this hotel on a return trip to London for 4 days by myself. The location is just great. So close to the subway & right in the middle of Tsim Tsa Shui in Kowloon. Obviously it is going to be a very basic hotel when you look at the price. The rooms were small but clean. If you want nice decor then this hotel is not for you - You do pay for what you get. It was a bit chilly but the staff gave me a heater when I mentioned this to them. They were very helpful with regards to attractions etc. One thing I would say is that when I checked out and left my suitcase at the hotel for the day I was a little concerned as they did seem to be stored in a hallway. And although they did chain them up I was worried that someone may have been able to easily open them if staff weren't around. Hong Kong is a fantastic city and for someone travelling alone on a budget this hotel is great!
