If you are in Hong Kong on a Sunday afternoon - make your way to Kowloon Park. As well as being a little oasis in the centre of all the action - you can watch a fabulous free display of Kung Foo !
Head for the Sculpture walk within the park. The displays take place from 2.30 - 4.30 pm and are completeley free. There are lots of seats with a shady canopy to keep you cool - however it is probably a good idea to bring a drink if the weather is hot. There are displays of both Kung Foo and Tai Chi - with people of all ages taking part - both students and masters. . There were some fantastic displays of fighting with different weapons. There were also dragon dances and ceremonial drumming displays. The audience is a mixture of locals and tourists and everyone seems to really enjoy themselves .
