This hotel is unique. The lobby floor is slightly slanted, so we feel like in a slanted house. The service is good. The restaurant is good. But in the lobby there is no place to sit down, so all the guests that wait for check-in or check-out have to stand in front of the reception desk.

I stayed at this hotel in September of 2013. It's a little far because it's located in Tokwawan. You do have a shuttle which will take you to Jimshatsu every hour. The hotel is also not close to any Metro Link station. There are lots of restaurants to eat around the hotel and they are all within walking distance. There is also a market right across street from the hotel. The staff are really friendly and courteous. Willing to help and answer questions. The swimming pool is one of the biggest pool i have seen in Hong Kong for a hotel.I like the hotel
and i am planning to come back to stay here again this year.

Room Tip: I like higher floors.

I had booked the hotel through a travel agent. As my daughter is young, we had requested for a triple occupancy in a double room. The room was super cramped with the extra bed in it.
So, if you are planning on an extra bed in the room be prepared to walk on beds!
The bathroom is equally cramped with just enough space for the essentials.
The rooms are clean and well kept.

We had only breakfast in the hotel which was average - the spread is not too big.
The rest of our meals were either at the place we visited or at Mc Donald's which is at at 10-min walking distance.Vegetarian food is not available in that McD (unless you count French fries!!)

The hotel staff is not very friendly or helpful. Most of them do not understand English and hence conversation is rather tedious.

Hotel is not conducive if you would prefer to use the MTR (Metro rail). It does have a bus stand right outside (I did not use it). If you are looking for a hotel that is at a walking distance from the shopping areas then this is not it.

A few tips:

Hotel has a free and frequent shuttle service to and from central shopping district Tsim Sha Tsui. The time table is available with the concierge. Use it. Its punctual and free!!

If you are venturing out to the market / shopping on your own - make sure you get the hotel staff to write the destination and name of the hotel in the local language. Reason - Taxi Drivers /locals may not understand your accent to get you to the right place!

So overall, the hotel was a good place to stay the night and rush out the next morning. Definitely not a place to lounge and relax.

My first trip to HK together with my fiance and it was the BEST experience we ever had. We arrived at the hotel early at 9.30am as our flight was in the morning and was greeted with a warm welcome by a female staff. She suggested us to top-up HKD$890 (about SGD$150 for 3 days) for breakfast buffet for 3 days for the two of us and she will upgrade our room from a superior room to a suite. We agreed to it and were also able to check-in immediately at 9.30am (usual check-in is at 2pm) as the room was available! We were estatic!

Our suite was on the 2nd floor with an outdoor balcony which faces the swimming pool. The room was definitely spacious and the beddings are the most comfortable I have ever had. However, we had to change to another room at 5pm as there was a leakage at the adjacent room and they had to do a maintenance check.

The front office manager, Mr Kenneth Chan and the bellboy came to assist us with the change of room. He even offered us a discount on our breakfast buffet (HKD$490 instead of HKD$890) as well as a late check-out till 7pm (we requested for a late check-out previously and was given till 1.30pm as our flight was in the evening) due to the inconveniences that they have caused.

Pros of the hotel:
1) The service provided by Mr Chan and his staffs are commendable by ensuring that our stay was smooth and comfortable.

2) The hotel provided complimentary newspaper for our room daily.

3) The hotel provided complimentary shuttle bus to 2 MTR stations, Hung Hom and East Tsim Tsa Shui stations. Schedule of the buses are provided in the hotel rooms.

4) Decent breakfast buffet spread that starts from 6am till 10.30am.

5) Housekeeping services are excellent.

6) Convenience store and McDonalds located nearby (walking distance of 5mins).

7) Hotel location is quiet at night (Not for those looking for a nightlife).

8) There is a little cafe situated at the hotel lobby.

9) No airport transfer to hotel but can easily take the Cityflyer bus A22 to the hotel (45mins bus ride & 5mins walk to the hotel).

Cons of the hotel:
1) No door man to greet you upon your arrival.

2) The staff that served us at the Egg counter during the breakfast buffet was unsmiling to everyone.

3) Required to put a deposit of HKD$4000 or SGD$300 at the front desk upon check-in (refundable upon check-out if we don't take any chips/drinks from the room).

4) Shuttle bus driver doesn't speak or understand English.

5) Wi-Fi service provided at a rate of HKD$128/day (cheaper to get their sim card that costs HKD$140 with unlimited Wi-Fi).

Stayed for two days. There is no coordination between the travel agent (Freedom travels- arranged by SOTC, India) and hotel.
The rooms are very small.
The hotel is surrounded by garages. We were unable to go for evening walk.
They arranged for dinner at cafe- while all people were taking buffets, we are asked to sit in a corner and given specific foods(fault with hotel/travel agent-we do not know). The next day the return from Disney land was delayed. We had tough time to get food even-though we informed early by phone. The person who attended the phone at Cafe was not there while we came for food.
