“Spacious rooms in HK”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

I recently spent a few nights at the Wifi Boutique hotel in HK. This was my last stop after a four month journey around Asia, and I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel. I got a deal on agoda.com, so I was extremely pleased with the price I paid. Similarly priced properties could not even come close to matching the amenities and comfort provided by the Wifi.

The room was cozy and clean, the shower was nicely partitioned from the rest of the bathroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. Crisp, white linen, comfortable pillows and mattress. I had a great sleep!

The property is a short walk from Causeway Bay subway station and also close to central HK. You can catch public transportation or even walk, maybe 20 min, to get to Victoria Peak Tram, Soho (lots of bars, restaurants, unique stores), Central Pier etc. I walked back to the hotel from Soho on my last night, it's a comfortable walk if you enjoy walking, and felt very safe at all times (I am a female and was there alone).

Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed on the top floor, and the city noise was far far below. We walked everywhere... Shopping, markets, restaurants all close - Causeway Bay station was just a few blocks away, so Central HK, Kowloon, Airport all easy to access. Reasonable prices, very clean, good wifi etc

Room Tip: The higher you go the quieter the room

Wifi hotel is just a short walk ( 5 minutes ) from Hong Kong convention ctre wich was perfect for me. Entering hotel i was realy not impressed and once on the second floor comparing the lobby i was in with pictures i had seen on internet i feared what my room would be like. Room on the 13 th floor some disturbing noise from the street and stains in the bathroom . Rest of the room was ok for one person , clean and with all the essentials as a phone fridge and flat screen tv . Concerning tv i would apreciate having more then just 5 chinese chanels and cnbc . Bathroom small but good enough. No room service and no restaurant or bar in this hotel but many shops and restaurants in the area of hotel . Considering tne price i payd i think i received a good deal even if this is surely not my favouryte hotel in Hong kong.

The hotel is in the heart of Wan Chai which is a good location for getting around and it's right near the MRT (really cheap train travel).

My room was compact but had everything I needed such as English tv channels, comfy double bed, tea making facilities, a large walk in rain shower, toiletries, hairdryer and fridge (plus hanging and storage space). The room worked out at just under £100 per night for 7 nights so really good value as well seeing as hotels in Hong Kong are so expensive.

I felt safe in the hotel and the noise was minimal which was surprising as the hotel is on a fairly main road. Beware that at the other end of the road is a red light district but the hotel is far away enough for this to be avoided, just get your directional bearings!

I have recommended this hotel to my colleague who travels to HK on business a lot, but this hotel is also a great place for a tourist who doesn't plan on being in the room that often and does not require luxuries such as room service etc.

In summary a clean, safe and very comdortable hotel which does have free WIFI which was great for me to keep in touch with the UK as I was travelling alone.

Would stay here again.

I reached this hotel via a taxi . This was my first overseas trip. The staff at the reception speak good English. They charge a 500 HKD deposit at check in. It is returned after inspection of your room at check out. I stayed in a single bed room on the 14th floor. This offers quite a good view of the bay.You can check out quite a good number of shops from this hotel. All are at a walking distance. The wifi facility is quite decent. The TV has Star Movies as the only English channel and it was good enough for me. The dehumidiser in the room is essential and works well. The bathroom slippers are good and are replaced everyday. The soaps in the dispenser are ok and do a good job. The flush is the only problem area, however and you can flush just once every morning. Overall a decent hotel and good for budget travellers.

Me with my family of four booked this hotel during peak christmas period, we had a family room.
The hotel is situated 7-10 minutes walking distance from causeway bay MTR station. The reception of this hotel was ok and i had no problem speaking english. the room is small for 4 people (1 9yo kid). We almost couldn't move around in the room but i guess its a standard room size for cluttered hong kong. i got a room at the first floor. The hall way and room are all designed in black which makes it even narrower. The room was not very clean, toilet has drainage smell and the bed sheet had spots but the room got every basic thing we need. They didn't change my bed sheet for two days and it was ok for me since we understand the environment concerns but what we don't like is that they didn't even tidy-up the bed. so they just left the blanket thrown on the bed. Overall this hotel is great for bed and go hotel but it's on the yellow signal where it almost gone below the standards. if they improve the cleanliness it would be a good wifi hotel. I think i still recommend this hotel

Room Tip: higher floor the better
