“Hit the spot with clean fresh authentic tastes & flavors”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2012

Possibly the worlds smallest cafe with a kitchen wrapped around an internal stair case. The food offered is basic and to the point. The Bombay Cafe does not pretend to be something it's not BUT it delivers flavors and food quality that are well worth the visit. Service is prompt and very personal. Value is very good. I will be back and will recommend to others.

“Curry on the street”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2011

Don't let this sleepy backwater cafe fool you. If you are in Mui Wo and hungry this is a great place to go.

Curry is home cooked to perfection and with only 2 tables the service is impeccable!

“Wicked Vindaloo, Great Cafe.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2011

Stumbled on this gem by accident, we missed the bus up to the giant buddha and me and my wife found this small cafe serving Indian food to eat in or takeaway just opposite the bus stop. You'll find itI on your left hand side just as you leave the ferry about 100 mtrs up from the golden arches fast food hell.
The owner is from India and he cooks everything from fresh, my Chicken Vindaloo was delicious and my wife raved about her veggie falafel. It's just a small cafe so you could easily miss it but please keep your eyes open for it and give it a try.

“Great food, Great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2011

We lived in Hong Kong for a few months this year. Stumbled upon this cafe one day while visitng Mui Wo. They serve the best curries I have ever had. Also have tried most of the menu by now as we ended up going back almost weekly. We loved the place, Such good value for money, Owners Gordon, his wife and mum Ethel are such lovely people. They also do kids pizzas and chips which my son loved. Any time we had family visiting they were brought along to the Bombay Cafe for the experience and all of them loved it.

“Good Indian Food option in Mui Wo”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2011

You would be surprised to get any Indian food in Mui Wo. What is more surprise is that the food is actually good!!! There are limited options though.... with some curry + rice, briyani, and wrap options. The owners are warm and make you feel at home. It is very small eating place .,..where you have to sit just outside the shop in a shade. We were unfortunate to be there on a rainny day. But we were accomodated inside the shop to complete our meal.
Best time to visit is weekends...
