Beautiful hotel. Locations is great just a few blocks from the MTR station so access to the rest of the city is easy. Didn't have time to explore the local area much but seemed to be good restaurants and shops. Rooms were well maintained and the view from the harbour side rooms is fantastic. I would stay here again no problem.

This is a huge hotel on HK island. Area nit the best...but easy to get everywhere. Impressive lobby, with a Harper playing of an evening. Fabulous roof top bar with amazing views (& happy hour!!) standard hotel room. Wifi-not the best or fastest...
Basic gym. Swimming pool.
Coffee shop on 3rd floor, you can eat cheaper outside, but I found the food & service good.
Polite staff...all in all its what you expect from a bug hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located on Oil street and walking distance from Fortress Hill Station on Blue Line. Very near to Causeway Bay area and If you find a sea facing room, you can very well see the HK convention centre and Kowloon Island. It has all the amenities and the rooms are spacious and very good. A little far from traditional markets like Ladies/ Electronic/ Jewellery market. Best way to travel to these places is MTR. You need to take MTR from Fortress Hill and change line at Admirality. Get down either at Mongkok or Jordon. Very nice place to stay.

Room tip: Go for sea facing rooms

We were very happy with the overall standard of service and presentation of our room. The concierge service was second-to-none.
The room was, however, a little on the small side considering the rates.
Be warned that another building is currently being erected next to the HG, so if you're after absolute tranquility this is not the place for you.
Brilliant convenience with it being 300m from the Fortress Hill MTR.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip to Hong Kong. Soon as you get to the hotel the staff are there to greet and help with luggage. Check in was quick and staff were very friendly.
The rooms were spacious, had two double beds, desk area, a fridge and a kettle.
At certain times through out the day there's a harpist playing in the reception area which is a lovely touch. The location is great, just a five minutes walk from the station, main bus stops, supermarket, McDonald's and a Starbucks. Would definitely stay here again.
