Recently popped into one of the Aji Ichiban shops for a few candy-like treats. Beside the miles of plastic they use to wrap each and every piece of candy, I rather like this little Japanese confectionery shop.

Aji Ichiban is a very popular chain in Hong Kong that specializes in a wide variety of confectionery. You can select many different snacks and treats as you like and pay by weight. They also have pre-assembled packages with set price. The treats mostly cater to 'Asian' tastes and preferences but 'Western' visitors can always find something good here as well. There are usually some classic American candies here as well.

Aji Ichiban is a fun little shop to duck into if you run across one while visiting Hong Kong, especially if you've a sweet tooth. There are over 100 branches scattered throughout Hong Kong so you're never that far away from one.
