All was OK. But there are two issues:
1. the breakfast - very bland and monotonous. It does not consider European taste.
2. the lifts - nightmarish, narrow. You never knew where it would stopped.
in plus: 1. very good location - next to the Victoria Park 2. Outside there is Chinese street

... for a room. Waiting in the lobby (12.50pm) for the official check-in time of 2 pm, along with many, many others. Doesn't seem a very nice or flexible start to the hotel experience. Not cheap either, let's hope the room is more impressive.

The location is fantastic: close enough to Central but far enough away as well. 5 minutes to the Tin Hau metro. Clean, efficient place. Staff is polite and efficient. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't get it with the room, and would much rather pay for Dim Sum, but it looked ok when we poked our heads in one morning. The rooms are small and not cheap, as per HK. But the beds are tiny. I'm 177cm, and my ankles went over the edge. Just a small peeve.

Stayed here for a conference. The room was a reasonable size for HK and the service very good. The hotel is clean and the breakfast buffet has a good variety of Western and local foods. Cannot comment on value for money as I didn't pay myself :-) As a group booking, we were given access to the business lounge on the 30th floor, which was a nice touch and has fantastic views (and free snacks and drinks).
There is no gym or pool in the hotel, but Victoria Park is 3 minutes away - there is a public pool which is open from 6am to 10pm (although not all times for public swimming). The cost in 19 HKD which seems very reasonable. the only thing is that I couldn't figure out lane etiquette (I think there is none). Ah, culture!
Tin Hau underground station is about 5 minutes away and a trolley bus runs by on King's Rd.
There can be a bit of a wait for the lift at times.

Room Tip: Low floor might be good if you want to have the option of taking the stairs when the lift is slow. On the sixth floor there was no problem with noise from the street. Otherwise try a high floor and a room number ending in 01 - you might get similar views to the excellent one from the business lounge!

Great location and great adequate sized room with a full bathroom with all amenities ! Many convenient stores a hop skip and jump away. A club room on the 30th floor with a great views of Hong Kong and a friendly reception desk. Don't expect a gym or pool. Also there is one restaurant and spa to add but that is it. To stretch your legs or even swim you have to access the fantastic facilities at Victoria Park (just 2 small blocks away). There is a strong chance that I may stay again at this hotel.
