I can't believe the Dorsett is ranked so highly. I understand that it's common for any mid-range HK hotel to be very small, but there have to be other options. Unless you are by yourself you will become claustrophobic in one of the doubles. Try booking an apartment on AirBnb. I stayed in an AirBnb apartment in Tsim Sha Tsui for the first part of my stay in Hong Kong. It cost the same as a room at the Dorsett and was much bigger and better in every way. The bathroom in our room at the Dorsett smelled like sewage. First time visitors to Hong Kong should keep in mind that Mong Kok is one of the most densely populated areas in the city. It is close to the Olympic City mall where you'll find a large fitness city and a drop off service Laundromat.
