Spent 3 weeks at the Hyatt TST while travelling for business from North America. Hotel staff was courteous and friendly, although concierge did not speak well enough in English to understand what I was asking for on a couple of occasions. Room service people are nice and polite and staff is helpful with things like bags and arranging transport, etc.
Room was spacious for HK, and extremely great location- only a short MTR trip from Central or 2 minute walk to Nathan Road. It's attached to a cute little boutique mall called the K11 which had all kinds of cute stores in it and a delicious frozen yogurt store called Smile. Great view of the harbor and lots of storage in room. My favorite part by far was the rain shower head in the bathroom which was superb.
The only downfall I had with the hotel is that the Wireless internet (which you have to pay for, and is quite expensive) was no good. On multiple occasions, I couldn't get a wifi signal in my room and had to plug in through wired connection to the desk. Not a big deal, but when you're paying alot for wireless internet access, this irritated me. Longest package you could buy was for 3 days, which didn't help a long-term traveller like me.
Overall, great hotel and would recommend to anyone travelling for business or pleasure- solo or with friends.More
