“Very touristy”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Although I enjoyed my meal I felt somewhat ripped off in a tourist trap. The food was no better than I might have eaten in the UK and was pricey.

Very touristy thing to do but lovely Chinese boat. The food wasn't amazing (had duck) but had a nice evening. Worth the trip!

“Very Enjoyable Meal”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

We ate at this restaurant 17 years ago. Having read some of the previous reviews we were unsure if we were going to like it but gave a try as nostalgia won us over. The surroundings in the 1st floor restaurant were beautiful. We ordered sweet and sour pork with red date, lily bulb and assorted fruit, Sautéed prawn ball with pine mushrooms and sugar snap pea and egg fried rice with pork and shrimp. Everything was delicious, the sweet and sour sauce with the pork was delicate, the prawns were perfectly cooked, large and tasted fantastic and the egg fried rice was very good with prawns larger than I have seen in some main dishes in restaurants in Europe. Everything was very very good and we were so glad we decided to eat there for our last meal in Hong Kong. The staff were attentive and gave good advice on our order and stopped us ordering too much as the portions were large. We would definitely eat there again.

“Good views and food”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

A beautiful view complimented by quality food and attentive staff. The boat ride is relaxing though short but a nice way to start to the restaurant. Upon arriving I was seated immediately on the deck as requested. The evening was chilly and my waiter brought a heat lamp as well as several blankets to keep me comfortable. The food was nice, though not remarkable, and the view from the top is beautiful. For experience or a good meal, tis is a great option in the city.

“Touristy Venue”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Although Jumbo was well-known to us that it was touristy, we went with a group of friends, took their water taxi and had a very enjoyable meal. When you go at night it is more interesting and brightly lit. A bit out-of-way to get to. But if you are in Hong Kong, it is a sight to see and visit.
