Since the restaurant is just around my office corner, I often visited there for lunch. Their signature dishes are outstanding, everything else is just so-so. Excellent value for money though.

I have not tired eating Dinner here, but this is my 2nd time coming back here for DIm Sum, and it does not disappoint again.

After eating at other Dim Sum restaurants in the City, the Char Siew Bun here is definitely as good. Other signature dishes are the Custard Egg Tarts, Chew Chong fun and their Century Egg Porridge continues to be one of the Best in Hong Kong.

Prices here are of course not cheap, but it is a great place to sample top of the range Dim Sum while you are in Hong Kong

We were recommended Che for their char siew bun and we went expecting the regular white pau bun. Well, it was not a pau, but a bo-lo bun. It was super super super good. The bun melts in your mouth, the meat has thin bits of fat which adds to the yummy flavour.
On top of this, we had the usual dim sum and it was all very good. The congee was light and smooth, the glutinous rice cost a bomb (cos there was abalone & scallops inside!)
As a whole, we highly recommend Che. Do call in advance to make reservations. It gets really crowded.

For an upmarket restaurant, the tables are rather close to one another. Evidently very popular because you cannot just walk-in. Reservations is a must.

The dim sum here is rather refined, especially their signature dishes. But their Har Gow and Siew Mai cannot make it! Custard egg tart is Awesome! Melt in the mouth.

Located in a packed, unpretentious 4th floor of a nondescript building, we would never have found this place if not for a recommendation from my wife's uncle. And Che's did not disappoint. Their char siew pork (honeyed pork bun) and liu shar bao (salted egg-yoke bun, like molten custard) were the height of refinement in Cantonese cuisine. The texture is delicate and they simply melt in your mouth. Service is attentive and it was easy to see why people pack this in at lunch time. Come at 2 pm to beat the office crowds.
